Side Sim: Klingon's don't discuss their feelings easily (tag: CNS)

After all the staff had been through sickbay for their check-ins of entering the new ship, Lt. Sharvi no longer had a reason to keep postponing his own psych evaluation check in. He headed to the Counselor’s office, walking slowly, trying to find a reason not to go. As a Klingon, he hated having to examine his feelings, and definitely didn’t want to talk about them to anyone else, except maybe Kal, and even then there were feelings he never shared after her disappearance, as he didn’t want her to worry about him the way he has for her since she returned. He was really glad to have her back, and never wanted to lose her again. He finally made it to the Counselor’s office, and the door beeped to let the Counselor know that he was outside.
Lt. Sharvi, CMO

The door slid open and revealed a apsce much different than the rest of the offices on the ship.

Feeling more of an old fashioned den or study than an office; it was lit in a more subdued manner than the rest of the ship and bookcases lined one wall, filled with copies and originals of many texts on many different subjects and in more than a few languages. The desk was moved, set against the opposite wall facing away from the corner, the window to the left of a person seated at the desk and allowing for a large open space in the middle. Here there was a couch and a few chairs, one of which sat in front of and facing away from the desk. A low table graced the middle of the area, and on it was a small bowl filled with softly glowing crystals that now cast soft multi-colored lights around the room. Pictures hung on the walls, some were even old photographs.

Korczak was seated at the desk and smiled as the Klingon came in. “Lieutenant. I’m glad to see you.” and he smiled and directed the CMO to a chair. “Please… have a seat. I will try to make this as direct and straightforward as possible. How does that sound?”

Korczak, CNS
