After returning from the away team, Nevin headed to sickbay. On the Ambassador class ship he had been sat at a console that had exploded. Upon entering, it was clear that the Bajoran required medical attention - There were a number of small cuts to his face and also to his right arm which were visible. He was no longer wearing his uniform jacket, and his shirt was blackened on the torso.-Akorem
“Harrington,” The CMO said when he saw Nevin walked in, “Burns. Come help me treat them.” The smallish man walked over to Nevin in a deliberate but unhurried fashion. When he got to the XO he pulled out his tricorder and did a quick once over and sighed. “Come on commander. Let’s get you to a biobed.”

Harrington looked up from the station he was working at and unlike the CMO his movements were hurried as he gathered together all the treatment materials that he, and the CMO would need to treat the burns.
“Thank you,” Nevin said, “There was only limited first aid applied without the use of a tricorder and medkit.”
The XO followed the doctor to the nearby biobed and sat on the edge.
“There is possibly glass in there. I was sat at a console when it exploded,” he added. Nevin removed his shirt so the the doctor could better see the burns. He winced as he carefully peeled it off the affected area. From the position of the burns it was clear that Nevin had raised his arm to protect his face. There was also some bruising on his back from his hard landing on the deck.
“Feels worse than it looks,” he said looking down and making the first visual inspection of his chest.

“Here,” Harrington’s face was neutral in the long practice of a doctor of not revealing anything.He handed over the medical supplies he’d gathered, some Dermaline gel, Axonol, some sterile bandages, a pair of tweezers and a dermal regenerator all typical for the treatment of burns. Picking up the tweezers and Axonol in his hand, he moved over to Akorem visually inspecting him for any pieces of glass, and applying the anasthetic where he needed in order to pull the glass out.

DoctorThere were only a couple of visible slithers of the console that had exploded. Nevin’s unform had taken the brunt of the blast which looking at the burns had been caused by a short but intense blast.
The XO sat as still as he could whilst the doctors treated the burns.

Ferl’lak came running in with a gear bag. He went to some consoles to try to fix them.
