Hravish stepped on to the Avalon’s small personnel transporter’s pad and simply nodded at the crewman manning the controls.
His next will breath was taken on the Viking, where with a start he saw the shabby conditions, well not exactly shabby but the dim unsteady light above the transporter Chief made it look so.NE Barlow verified the Andorian’s identity as Lieutenant Hravish Ch’thaha, Star Fleet Security, from the transport logs, and greeted him “ Hello Sir welcome to the Viking.”
The Tall Andorian simply lifted one eyebrow and stepped down from the pad and approached the control station. “ Thank you Ensin” he finally answered in accented standard. “Please inform the officer of the watch I have come aboard and I will begin checking in.”
Stepping around the podium he accessed the ships command and imputed his personal identity a codes. Buy the time he had found sick bay security and Opps should have him rostered and a billet assigned.
With a nod he turned and walked out of the room.
Hravish
Standing just outside the doorway was a giant of a man, nearly fifteen centimeters taller than the new Security Chief and far wider and larger than any man should be. He wore a yellow Starfleet uniform with the ranking pips of a Lieutenant Commander, his hair was short chestnut brown hair and slight stubble on his chin. When the doors opened he nodded deeply “Lieutenant Hravish Ch’Thaha” He said factually, his voice a soft baritone “I’m Lieutenant Commander Peter Sigmundsson, The Viking’s Intelligence Officer, I had planned to greet you when you arrived but was unfortunately delayed.” He said apologetically and extended his right hand “Welcome onboard”

Hravish stoped in the door way and other than a moments tensing around his eyes, he betrayed no surprise and Sigmundsson’s appearance on the other side of the door.
“Hello Commandeer, taking the man’s hand in the human greeting. His grip was confident and firm, just as he had been taught. This was not a contest of strength but it had to portray your confidence and trustworthiness. The faint dueling scars on his hands and cheeks visible as he smiled. His antenna were forward and attentive as they should be greeting a superior officer.Hravish
Peter returned the firmness of the handshake before releasing his hand “I don’t know how well-briefed you were on the Viking and her Status” The man spoke with a slightly unusual Human accent. He turned to the side, offering the man to walk with him “We have a limited crew, ship functions are hectic at best. The security department has the entirety of Deck eight at their disposal, no other crew quarters there outside of my small team of Officers. My team is at your disposal should you ever require their assistance as am I” He explained “If I may ask, why have you been stationed here?” His tone more curious than inquisitive “The Viking is not the most illustrious assignment in the Fleet, you’ll find this a common inquiry.” He said with the slightest of smiles.
