As Burcham made his way to the Chief Medical Officers office, he would feel a gust of wind and feel a slight burning on his right arm that now started to turn red where he was bleeding.

Lt. Burcham looked down at his arm. “AHHH, what the…” he cursed at the burning sensation on his arm. “Maybe they have a dermal regenerator somewhere around here, I can use to heal this.” He found the emergency locker and grabbed the phaser from it.

A few moments later the two NEs showed up. “You all right, Sir?” One asked as he glanced at the Chief’s bleeding arm. “Hang on.” He gingerly took the arm and lifted it to keep it from hanging and nodded to the other. “Brian, grab a dermal regenerator from that top drawer in that cart.” He moved the Chief to a biobed. “Here, sit down and we’ll see to this.”

Once he took the regenerator from Brian, Aaron grinned. “Secure the door and clear medical.” The second NE did as he was told. One moment he is locking the medical bay door. The next he looks like he’s gone crazy as he turns his phaser to the room and starts shooting… well… everything.

As the NE was treating the COS’s arm, he felt a searing hot pain on his back that took his breath away “What the hell are these things?” He looked back at the COS and the other NE “We have got to figure out this crap and find the rest of the crew.” The other NE came over and looked at his back “You’ve got a cut on there. Once you get done with the COS give me the regenerator.”

“What is going on? I feel like they left out some information about this ship when I took this position.” CoS Burcham said. His arm was healing with the regenerator, “NE if you could show me where you stopped, and I’ll continue the sweep as you mend him.”

When Aaron saw the NE Peters wince, he growled. “Ok, this isn’t gonna work with us in the middle of the room.” He shook his head and nodded to the office. “All three of us need to get in there. Peters, sweep the main medical bay from the doorway. Don’t let anything sneak up on us. Chief, come with me.” He waited for the Chief to follow and lead the way to the office.

“Wait here.” He left the Chief between him and Peters and swept the office including under the desk and the table across the room. Once satisfied he had reached every corner, he went to help Peters. “Let the Chief take care of that back. I got this.” He nodded over his shoulder for the NE to let the CoS help him out. “I’ll explain in a moment, Chief. Lemme make sure we are secure.

He then went on to systematically sweep thru medical from the door to the back of the surgery corner. If any of those aliens were in there, he was sure he would get them.

Once the medical bay had been swept and those aliens found were restrained, Aaron and Peters rallied back up and took the Security Chief. “We’re getting you to the Bridge. We are to sweep the corridors as we go, front and behind, to be sure we aren’t attacked again. Grab that first aid kit in case we find anyone else,” Aaron told Peters. As they headed for the door, Aaron gave one final glance back. The unconscious aliens were behind a force field in one of the containment sections, restrained and out. He just hoped they stayed that way as the three headed for the door and the corridor back to the bridge.

CoS Burcham and NE Aaron and Peters swept through the corridors taking turns firing their phasers to make sure they not only avoided hitting each other, but any other crew, if any that may still be on the ship.
