Asher still on a buzz from recently arriving and meeting with the Captain he was quickly moving through the ship, well quickly wasn’t the word someone else might use because he was stopping at every person he saw who would entertain him as he gave out gummy sweet which he often tucked away in his pocket, individually wrapped of course. It was amazing how receptive the crew was. Eventually, though he finally made it to sickbay and his next victim the chief medical officer, he knew they’d likely work closely with one another so best get the introduction out the way on day one. It would be a bit weird if he just turned up and sat in his officer, that and he knew the pain of chasing people up for their check ups.

Andromeda, in a rare moment of no-one-is-checking-in, had sat down all the doctors and nurses to play two truths and a lie, as an icebreaker. They hadn’t gotten very far, and it was quickly devolving into telling stories, so Andromeda would welcome an interruption.
