Andromeda sighed as she pressed the chime on the captain’s ready room. She didn’t like leaving sickbay, much less leaving it when she was in the middle of running diagnostics on everything, but she had to meet her captain.
-Andromeda DeLion, CMOZarcal had this time prepared a small tray of sandwiches and some tea, his favorite smoked earth tea for himself and a range of options for his guest. He made sure the atmosphere had been purged, after all poisoning the CMO with fluorine was fairly low on his list. Although it had happened before and it was a fairly funny story, but we’ll pass that up for now. The chime rang and Zarcal rose and said, “Come in come in.” He remained standing, ready to greet his guest with a bow.

Andromeda entered the room and greeted Zarcal with an irreverent wave. “Nice to meet you, captain. I’m Andromeda DeLion, your CMO. Feel free to call me Andromeda.”

Zarcal appreciated the candor and said, “Good to meet you Andromeda, what can you tell me about yourself and the ship so far? I’ll go over your file eventually but for now I want to get a feel for who I’m working with.”
