Richard entered the turbolift jiving to a 21st century rock song known as ‘Down with the Sickness’ by an artist known as ‘Disturbed’. He enjoyed the bass in the pods projecting music in his ears, “These are some fresh beats from the past, sweet.” The music literally made him throw his head back and forth as he commanded to the ship’s computer, “Bridge.” He let the music consume him for a few moments further and then removed his pods prior to his arrival on the bridge. He set his hands at his sides and looked straight forward having that command presence written all over his posture. Richard went from hardcore 21st Century rocker to a professional Executive Officer on a starship for the United Federation of Planets, everyone has their own dirty little secrets. He will just have to hope to not ever get caught.

The turbolift doors swished open and Richard entered the Constellation’s bridge for the first time. Richard gave the bridge crew a nod of respect and acknowledgement. He had his duty uniform on with command red across his shoulders accompanied by two and half pips along his collar. The bright lights of the bridge reflected slightly off of his short brown hair. His ocean blue eyes gazed upon bridge set up for a moment taking it all in. He then walked to the Captain’s ready room and pressed the chime to signal that he was ready to make introductions with Captain Zarcal.

Brenna was inside the office and of course instantly knew who it was. In fact she could ‘hear’ him rocking to his 20th century music from a couple decks away. She took a page out of Richard’s book and had transported directly to the ready room, waiting for Zarcal. Protective gloves in place she took Ryholite from him, baby cooing nonsense the whole time. “I know you have meetings this morning but do you want a couple extra hours?” Brenna would never turn down the chance to spend time with her favorite little guy. At the chime she looked up briefly and then set Rhyolite in the carrier.
