While Slayer was walking through the corridor, he then saw the counselors office. As he approaches he then chimes to enter but waits. He doesn’t go in without the counselor saying enter.

Lt. Slayer

Clamorous howls burst from the Counsellor’s office, tormenting the air with a string of syllables vaguely reminiscent of a melody. When the doors slid open, Slayer would discover a Klingon woman amid the dissonance. She lounged with her head thrust back, heinous shrieks expelling from her chest without the slightest harmony. This pitiful display lasted several seconds longer before Eleyr finally glimpsed Slayer, her eyes locking with his.

“Ah!” She roared, ordering her music to a halt as she sprang from her chair to meet the aCSO at the door. “You must be Lt. Slayer,” Eleyr greeted without mention of her performance, “I’m Eleyr, daughter of House Em’ujo. Do have a seat, we have much to discuss.”

— Eleyr, CNS

“Yes ma’am.” As the Lt came in and sat down. He knew that she was a Klingon but it was very unusual on seeing one in Starfleet. Hes never met one before. He then asked “may I have already grey tea. It’s always been my kind of drink. I will not drink anything else but that.” He said to the Lt.

Lt. Slayer, ALSO.

“Mmm.. I’ll see if the replicator allows it. Lately it’s been spitting out nothing but souffles and puffed pastries,” she shot a glare at the poor machine, “not quite of the Earl Grey calibre, either.”

Eleyr toyed with the replicator for several seconds before returning with a cup of steaming Earl Grey.. and a crumpet that’d somehow replaced her coffee order.

“So, Lieutenant…” she handed him the cup “…what brings you to this corner of the galaxy?” She referenced his career in Starfleet.

– Eleyr, CNS

He takes the cup and responds. “Well I am the acting chief science officer as of now. I believe you have read my service record and it should say that I was originally something else. I am not to fond of my last position. But mostly exploring with new people and just learn different things and stay aboard as much as possible.” He explained to the Lieutenant.

Lieutenant Slayer

“What dissatisfied you about your previous position,” Eleyr reflected briefly on what that was. She’d reviewed his file prior to his appointment, but now it was words melodised by Klingon Opera. “And what do you expect from your new endeavour?”

— Eleyr, CNS

“Well conselor,” he started “the reason why it didnt work as well is because no one really cared about me at all. And I know that for the fact cause jo one would talk to me at all.” Ad he sat there sipping on his earl grey tea. He then ask “Why do you ask? Just curious or something cause I know as counselor it is your job to know.” He added. He was kind of wondering but he thought that as she was counselor of the ship it was her duty to be a Starfleet officer to ask these kind of questions.

Lt. Slayer

“I have examined your file,” she assured with a slight grin, “but I am not interested in what some computer-generated record has to say. I’m interested in what you make of it. Files don’t account for the blood boiling in our veins or the anger pulsating at throats, Mr. Slayer; they’re merely tools.”

“So,” she gestured to him, “let’s disregard your record and discuss that sentence, ‘because no one really cared about me.’ Tell me about your experience. What was it like aboard Chimera?” She tilted her head, her expression the furthest from soft but at least invested.

– Eleyr, CNS

“Oh well counselor, it was fine. It was quiet but it was nice. The very first assignment there was a fun little trip for me. Just thought that I should’ve gotten a transfer. As I said the assignment on the Chimera was an okay assignemnt. All the people there were nice. And everyone was there to do their duty like everyone here counselor. I know I sound repetitive when I say something like that. And I apologize.” As he started to explain everything.

Lt. Slayer

“Lieutenant,” Eleyr raised her taloned hand and shook her head, “you don’t owe me an explanation. My job isn’t to analyse your verbosity nor your command over Federation Standard.” She chuckled, “besides.. that would hypocritial. So speak freely and however much you like.”

“Tell me about your passions,” the Klingon tugged her glass from the table. “What makes your heart sing? And your blood boil with furore?”

– Eleyr, CNS

“Well counselor. That’s actually hard to say. Honestly my passion is to just have a fun time working and actually do my very best at my job. It’s just hard to say counselor. As I am a Starfleet officer it’s my duty to actually do my best at my post and station.” He said.

Lt. Slayer

Eleyr hoisted a bushy eyebrow to her hairline, latent concern passing through her pale eyes. “What do you do outside of work, Lieutenant?” She leaned forward, tilting her head slightly. “What are your hobbies? Your leisure pursuits?”

— Eleyr, CNS

“Well counselor. I dont do anything. I just go back to my quarters and focus on what I want to do. I normally read books.” He told her that. He was more of a quiet type when it comes around to off duty times.

Lt. Slayer

“About these books you read…” a grin chased across her lips, “…are they spine-chilling thrillers that pierce your veins with frigid suspence? Heart-fluttering romances harrowed by tragedy and heartbreak? Perhaps you’re a classy man who enjoys malty tea and an ancient mystery. Tell me, what tales strike your fancy?”

— Eleyr, CNS

“Well counselor. I would say I like reading all types of books doesn’t matter what kind of book it is. I’ll read them straight through until I am done with them. Once I’ve started on a book, I don’t put the book down unless if I am on duty. I’m someone who reads a lot.” He said to the counselor.

Lt. Slayer

Eleyr blinked and craned her arm to coax the crumpet from her seat-side table. Shoving it into her mouth, she pondered the man sat before her. If he wasn’t a greenbloo– Vulcan, concern might’ve infiltrated her otherwise inimical expression. Fortunately, she was spared such shame.

“Do you like games, Mr. Slayer?” She asked somewhat abruptly.

— Eleyr, CNS
