As the Lt. Went to the xos office, he pressed the chime. He wanted to talk to him about everything and the duty assignments and all of that. The Lt knows that having the commanders help would help a lot for him.Lt. Slayer
Richard looked up from his computer screen as he had been browsing through various holodeck programs to run later that evening, “Come in.” He minimized the screen on his tablet and set it on the side of his desk as he casually observed his visitor enter his office.

“Hello commander. Sorry for the intrusion.” He said as he walked in “sir with your permission could you help me with these assignments to my department. They don’t seem happy with what they are doing right now.” He said.
Lt. Slayer
Richard raised an eyebrow not completely surprised about the fact that certain junior officers did not enjoy work. He mentally recalled during his early days as a department head feeling like a part-time babysitter of men and women old enough to be his own parents or younger. Every new leadership assignment can pose a challenge in one way or another. You never really know who you are going to get, but the expectation is always the same regardless of how well your team performs initially, the deliver results was always the key benefactor. While sitting at his desk Richard gestured to the chair in front of Slayer with his right hand, “You have come to request lessons in adulting.” He flashed a grin across his lips, “Please have a seat Lieutenant. You came to the right place.” He paused and waited for Slayer to make himself comfortable and have a seat, “Oh, and where are my manners Lieutenant? Would you care for a drink?”

“Ah yes sir thank you sir.” He said as he came in. He sat down and is starting to feel comfortable. “Earl grey tea is something I drink.” He said to the commander.
