Richard did not notice the rescan as he was distracted by his conversation with Andromeda and Brenna. He chuckled whole heartedly at Brenna’s comment about Trevor Slattery, the fake Mandarin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He had always enjoyed watching that classic series of films despite them being over three hundred years old. It was fun for him to dress up in his Captain America costume and fight pretend villains at the holodeck. It felt like the real deal to him and enjoyed it whenever he had the time to do so despite receiving odd looks from his fellow crew when he walked from his quarters to the holodeck. His eyes darted to Andromeda, “How are the scans going Doctor? Am I going to be alright?” He raised an eyebrow jokingly accompanied by a devilish grin.

“I haven’t decided yet,” Andromeda deadpanned, raising an eyebrow. “Depends how much I like ya.” The second scan seemed to be coming back clean, so she grinned slightly. “Unless you annoy me in the next two minutes, I’d say you’re fine.’
-Andromeda, CMORichard remained silent as he waited for the Doctor to finish doing what she had to do. This would soon be over and then he could return to his quarters with Brenna. He was almost certain that she would berate him with questions both internally and externally immediately following the appointment.

The scan beeped, and Andromeda grinned at Richard. “You’re all clear Commander. Go have fun.” She winked at the pair and turned towards her office.. “I’ll be in my office if you need me.”
-Andromeda DeLion, CMOBrenna grinned back at Andromeda and then patted her leg to get the dogs attention. “Have a good day Doctor. Let me know if you need anything.” Geri and Freki followed her out to the corridor where she turned and waited. Fenris looked from her to Richard and choose to wait with Richard. He loved Richard.
Alright, Mouse Heart. What was that all about?

Richard stretched casually, then stood up, and walked towards the corridor area. He could see Fenris sitting there waiting and patted his head with a tone of exaggerated excitement in his voice, “That’s such a good boy.” Afterwards, he turned to face Brenna as he looked slightly downward to meet her gaze, “I think your magical sense mechanism is off again. As you can see I am in great health and am perfectly fine my dear.” He provided Brenna with a winning smile in conclusion and as always enjoyed being flirtatious with her as usual.

Richard was evading and they both knew it. Brenna could call him on the fact his anxiety woke her form a dead sleep from across the ship, but there was no purpose in pushing the issue with him. She had since long ago given up her right to pry into his life. If he didn’t want to tell her what was going on, that was no one’s fault but her own. “Well in that case then, I guess I’ll take these guys to go run.” She patted her leg and Fekri followed but Geri hesitated walking up to Fenris and nosing him and whining. “Come on Geri, Fenris has other things to do today.” She felt as confused as poor Geri, but years of training kept it off her face. Geri whined one more time and then started down the corridor with her and Fekri.

Richard smiled at Brenna, he enjoyed her company, however, there were some aspects about himself that he preferred to keep close to the vest. He kept a positive tone in response, “Absolutely, I will see you in my quarters later on this evening. We are going to have Mexican for dinner, prepare to be amazed at the little fiesta I have planned for us.” He winked at her casually.
