Archie sighed. “I don’t know, Click click,” He looked around again, still looking around the room but seemed to be settling down. ” My wife were murdered on our own military starbase, behind locked doors, click click.” He seemed to settle down after looking around the room. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. “My species can sense when predators are near, click click, no matter where I go I feel like I’m being watched. After hearing how my family died, click click, it’s been in overdrive.” he explained sadly.
“I apologize.”

“Don’t apologize. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through that,” Cassidy said softly. “I can understand why you might be having trouble here.”
“A danger sense, eh?” Logan said. “That’d be a handy talent to have. Until it goes off all the time. Is there a way that you can turn it off?”

Archie shook his head. “No, When I first got here I felt fine, but for the last few days it comes and goes, Click click. I don’t know why.” He looked around again, but didn’t see anything unusual. “Maybe, click click, my families death has made me jumpy, being killed in a locked room.” he said sadly then jerked his head towards the back of the room, seeing nothing he looked back towards his bar mates. “The events leading to my being here, click click, has me seeing predators everywhere.”

“Does it vary with the intensity of the threat?” Zeke asked. “Like. A mugger versus someone who’s about to assassinate you?”

Cassidy managed not to roll her eyes at the CMO’s question. It was hardly the time and place to go getting super curious when the person you were conversing with was on edge, but she also knew info was important at the moment. Mostly she was interested in whether it was Archie’s sense actually picking something up, or him just reacting to memories. But there was no easy way to find that out at the moment.
Ensign Abrams, Security
Archie shook his head. “No,” He replied sadly. ” I just, click click, feel like I am being watched by a Nork’lak. It’s a predator on our moon, click click. They hide in shadows, sometimes for days then jump out to maul you, click click.” He explaines shaking a little.
“My apologize, click click. I should be grateful and safe here.”
