Hello Everyone,I think most of you already know, but for those of you who might have not yet heard, Jeremy Despain passed away on Tuesday night after a protracted battle with cancer. I remember when he first came to the club, and we’ve been friends ever since then. I’m going to miss his roleplaying, obviously, but his moral clarity and strength of good character I’m going to miss a lot more.
A number of us will be on Discord voice chat on Friday night around 9 PM Eastern Standard Time in order to have an informal toast in remembrance of him. You are all welcome to attend.

This news breaks my heart to hear, but now his suffering is over and somewhere another angel was born. I will say Jeremy was an interesting friend because I usually remembered his characters and stories best on the site. They were filled with careful thought and heart, easily woven through the stories he was involved with or wrote himself. The site has lost a special member who will now live inside our hearts, fueled by our memories. Rest in peace, I am proud to call you my friend Jeremy Despain.
