“Hold on, you two,” Zeke said. “Of course I dissabled the power conduit! Do you think that I’m stupid?? I’m just trying to adjust the scanning frequency on this stupid biobed sensor cluster to account for —“
.
Just then, there was a sudden Zap as the live power conduit threw a bolt of star ship electricity at Zeke. Who, in turn, was zapped across the room and into the bulkhead. Where he slid to the deck.

CMO

Franklin swore creatively as the man was thrown across the room. Quick as lightning, he leaped to the console and reached into the open panel. Yanking two small connection circuits, he sighed as the sparking faded into silence.

Lia watched the progression of events as the CMO slid across the deck. Without looking at Franklin, she reached for a medical tricorder nearby and popped it open, making her way to Zeke. She initiated the scan and then finally turned her attention to the engineer. “I suppose he didn’t disable the conduit.”

Adrie

“They never do…” He muttered in his drawl. “He turned it off, but he didn’t break the connection. Is he alright?” Jim’s blue eyes moved from the components in his large hands to the Prostrate Doctor, eyes finally settling on Adrie. “He’s gonna have one whopper of a headache, that was a lotta juice he took.” His blue eyes weren’t unkind, though there was a hint of glee in them.

-Franklin

Lia smirked at Franklin as she waited for the tricorder to give her the status of the doctor. “It sounds like you have experience in that,” she commented, twinges of amusement entering her tone.

Adrie, Sec

“Oh, I might’ve been zapped a time or two..” He grinned but it was tightly. He was actually worried for the doctor, it seemed. “Check his heart, a jolt like that can cause arrhythmia…”

-Franklin

Lia’s smirk quickly faded into a slight glare as Franklin tried to instruct her. “I know this uniform isn’t teal trimmed, but I do recall something about basic first aid,” she remarked as she sat back on her heels and awaited the results from the tricorder.

Adrie, Sec

Jim’s blue eyes rose up to meet hers. “Easy…Sir… I didn’t mean no offense, it’s just a thing to look out fer.” He moved to his bag and pulled out a small tool kit and began repairing the console the Doc had taken apart.
