SNIP

Marsh faced the captain. “Away team ready to transport.”

Marsh

“Energize and re-raise shields,” the Captain ordered.

Matty looked at Marsh “I’m going to send Crewman Franklin with you.” She said and touched her comm badge =^=Crewman Franklin report to the transporter room on the double for an away mission.” She said =^=Make sure you have your engineering kit with you just in case.=^= She reminded him more out of habit than thinking he would forget something.

CE

=/\=Aye, Chief. On my way.=/\= Franklin’s voice drawled through the comm.

-Franklin

Matty nodded to herself as she continued to work on fixing the damaged console that was in front of her.

CE

=^=Bridge to Commander Avik, Comm check.=^=

Marsh

=^= Avik here, it seems to be working. I have a question. Did we determine if the life support systems on the ship were working or not? =^=

–XO, Avik, Lt. Cmdr

=&=We have breathable air on the Klingon ship.=^= Marsh had to confirm his readings.

Marsh

Matty continued working on the console that had been damaged and finally had it working again. Standing up, she moved to the engineering station and began another series of scans for further damage.

CE

The Captain knew that Avik would report in if she had anything substantive to report on the Klingon ship. So he decided to focus his attention elsewhere at the moment.

“Any other ships in this sector on long range sensors, Mr. Marsh?”

– Johann Dvorak, CO

Marsh shook his head. “We’re clear to the max range of the sensors.” He pressed a few keys to get the sensors back on to the klingon ship.

Marsh

“Excellent,” the Captain said. “Send a contact report off to Black Rock and the nearest base, if I didn’t already ask you to do that.”

Matty didn’t find any other issues with any systems at this point, so she simply maintained her station and watched the power levels across the ship to make sure there were no other freaky things happening.

CE

OOC: No damage has been sustained up to this point.

-GM

OOC: Thanks for clarifying.

IC: Johann looked at the map on the viewscreen again one last time.

=/\= Computer, resume normal display on main viewscreen. =/\=

The map vanished in an instant and was replaced with the Klingon battlecruiser that was now the subject of the ship’s complete attention. The Captain decided to resume his seat in the command chair, at least until something else required his attention.

– Johann Dvorak, CO

Marsh spun slightly in his chair to watch the Captain get comfortable. Much like him, Marsh only could watch. He shrugged and turned back to his sensors.
