Duffle still in tow, Franklin made his way to the CNS’s Office. Stepping off the Turbo-lift, he made a right at the proper corridor and came to a halt before the door. Setting his bag down, he rang the chime for entry and waited for admittance. Jim didn’t know who the CNS was, but he’d been through enough evals in his career that it didn’t worry him much.

While he was waiting, he began to whistle softly to himself.

The door opened a moment later as Sienna placed a pair of pruning shears down beside a rather impressive bonsai tree sitting currently on her desk with detritus of leaves and sticks all around its base. Her office She had not had an appointment and thus was surprised to see their new engineer standing in the doorway of her office, duffel bag of (presumably) his belongings in tow. The counselor was pale with dark chestnut hair and dark eyes to match. IT would be fairly easy to tell she was at least some part Betazoid. She smiled and stood, walking towards the man.

“Crewman James Franklin? I am Lieutenant Siennadye Nox. Come in.” She stopped just as she rounded her desk and gestured delicately to the seating area warmly arranged on one side of her office. It was a nice sized and comfortable looking couch with a wide window looking out into space. Opposite the couch was two matching chairs and a long and low coffee table between them. On the wall to the left side of the couch lay an interesting colored glass curtain. To the right were several shelves with various knick knacks including a small replica of the USS Korolev.

“Thank you, Ma’am,” Franklin said in his characteristic drawl, stepping into the office. “I’m sorry if’n I’m a bother to you, I figured if you were busy I could just make an appointment and come on back later.”

He was tall, but not so tall, maybe 5‘10”; and built like a Witchita lineman. James had blue eyes and wavy blonde hair, though it was kept short enough not to show the waves much. Over all, he looked like a working man, which suited him just fine.
