Franklin looked up from his tricorder and glanced back at Abrams and Avik, his free hand moving to his tool kit. “I’m not picking up any active security protocols, it looks like we’re safe to poke around. Unless you’ve got other orders, I’m going to try and get into the Main Computer and see if I can pull logs and internal sensor data.” He moved onto the bridge proper and made his way to the engineering station and began to run translations of the text on the monitor.

Lia’s shoulders relaxed just the slightest bit as Franklin reported the results of his tricorder readings. She was still alert, but it was a relief to know that there wasn’t a particular trap set for them yet. She watched as his form began to disappear off in the direction of the bridge and she glanced back at Abrams. “Do you want me to go with him, Lieutenant?” she asked. Even if it didn’t seem like there were active security protocols, it seemed a bit premature for one of the team members to take off on their own already....

Logs appeared normal for a craft assigned to border patrol, until 2274. The equivalent in their calendar of 26 March, the log just… stopped.

Avik turned to Franklin, absorbing his statement.
“I don’t have any other orders than use your best judgement.” She relayed to the Engineer, trusting he knew his element well. The XO assumed the man wouldn’t conflict with Abrams. She wouldn’t deny the lack of life unsettled her even when it was made clear no one was here. The fear was illogical.

OOC: Ignore my previous reply, apparently I was half-asleep when I made it and forgot we’d headed onto the bridge.
IC:
Having followed the group onto the bridge, Lia remained by the entrance to the room, shifting so that she could keep an eye on the door they had entered through while allowing the COS to clear the room. She listened with interest to hear what the engineer would find; hopefully it would provide some concrete guidance as to their next actions on board the ship.
