Ashlyn quickly rewrapped the ration bar she was snacking on and put it away, quietly returning to her guarding position so as not to draw attention to herself. As soon as the opportunity arises she’ll look into this Sean Warwick that Shane suggested. Was it an alias, a family member, a co-conspirator of a dangerous plot? Probably not the last one, but finding out will have to wait for the time being. The muscles in Trenton’s leg twitched, she was going to have to go to the holodeck when she was relieved to release some pent up energy, she only hoped one was open for it. Otherwise, she would have to get creative in the gym again which always seemed to make a mess and upset others that eventually join.

Shane answered Abrams question as best he could, even though it wasn’t addressed to him. “I am feeling somewhat better. The good Doctor here was just allowing me to eat.” Nodding an acknowledgment to Zarath. “After, if he allows it… I can answer some more of your questions.”

“Also, Thank you for allowing Miss Trenton here to be my guard. Under her careful eye, I slept better than I have in months.”
- Warwick

Abrams smiled and nodded to Trenton, glad to see that having a guard on hand hadn’t bothered Shane too much. And it was equally good to see that Trenton had taken well to basic guard duty. Not everyone did, after all.

The Andorian might be a bit crass, but he did have the man’s best interest in mind… He handed Shane a small PaDD with which he could indicate the food he wished to have replicated. “I certainly allow my charges nourishment. I even provide clean clothes if they wish… In fact, I think I’ll have to insist on that last point, Mr. Warwick. Once you’ve given me your food order, why don’t you use the restroom in my office to clean up and have a sonic shower? I’ll have an extra uniform brought in by the time you’re done. That is unless Chief Abrams has something dire she must ask…”

-Zarath, CMO

“Nah, I can wait. By all means, do what you need to. My questions can wait,” Cassidy said. Besides, this wasn’t going to be some sort of interrogation. She just wanted to have a basic conversation and clarify some things so they could determine exactly what Shane’s status on the ship was going to be. Everything else would stem from that determination.

Shane gave Zarath and Abrams a sincere smile in turn to each. “Thank you both for allowing me some comforts. And, Yes, Doctor I would appreciate a change of clothes.”
Looking over the PaDD, Shane quickly picked up on where to go, what to do to order his meal. PaDD technology hadn’t changed much since he had left on his leave of absence.
” Also, if possible, may I have Miss Trenton assist me with my hair? I’m sure I can take care of it myself?”
- Warwick

“Your… hair?” Cass said with a tiny bit of amusement. Somehow, even in as bad a shape as he was, it seemed a very Shane thing to say. “I’m sure we can work something out. I’ll hang about until you’re done and feeling ready to chat.” Questions. So many questions. But while he was cleaning up, she figured Trenton could read her in on what had been found out thus far.

Warwick’s food arrived and he was intoxicated by it. He took small bites then seemed to savor the flavors on his tongue before taking another. He didn’t get far. Less than half the plate before he could eat no more. Seems his appetite would need to come back as well. With a smile to Trenton, he asked for her assistance to help him to the refresher so he could clean up. Still weary, he leaned on her more than he had hoped to.
“MIss Trenton, if I am to return to polite society I need to look like I belong.” Looking forlorn at the clippers, he gestured to them. “It all has to go. The beard as well. Can you cut my hair?”

After the deed was done, Trenton could return to Abrams.

Once Warwick was out of the room, Trenton handed over one of her collection of PaDDs she had become known for carrying around. “I did as much research as I could through official channels, and everything has been provided to you in the message I sent this morning before you arrived. What I have here for you is all the limitations, records from other ships, police reports sealed by Starfleet, medical reports, death certificates, and a few other things that need clearance I don’t have to access.” The PaDD was littered with document titles, authors, and ships they were tied to, and the police reports all locked with specific clearance requirements. “If I could get Gamma Level Administrative Access, I could get all of that information in an hour, but seeing as that isn’t going to happen, I’m hoping you might know someone that does that I could bribe with a nice pot of tea or cookies.”

It took 12 minutes before Warwick was calling for Trenton. He had finished his shower and had dressed in the uniform Zarath had provided for him. It fit loosely, a testament to the weight he had lost while in captivity. Not the best weight loss routine by any means. Blue for sciences. When Trenton arrived he was rubbing his nearly hairless scalp.
“Do you mind helping me back to Miss Abrams?” He then slipped into a bad Cuban accent as we smiled, “Seems I got some ‘spaining to do…”
