(snip)
While she had been keeping an eye on the readings, nothing new had come forth and everyone on the bridge was dealing with the situation that was unfolding. If it hadn’t been for the change in tone, her unfocused mind might have missed the words that the captain was having a seizure and being beamed to Sickbay.

For a moment she couldn’t breath. They wouldn’t have thought of it and Vora could imagine that in the chaos no one there would consider or remember that the captain’s fiancee was still on the comm.

It took every bit of willpower to stay at her station until her requested cover could arrive. Minutes. Minutes too long. The second that Ensign Rutz arrived, Vora barely said anything, just gesturing to the compilation of the data she had gathered so far. Then she hurried out of Astrometrics and made her way to Sickbay.

Meanwhile, Ensign Rutz continued to monitor things after the passing of the solar flare, but definitely was interested in seeing if anyone on the planet was paying attention. Was there any noticeable response? What about those suborbital craft?

Lt. (j.g) Zorell, Sciences

OOC: Oh interesting. Didn’t know about them being engaged. :)

With the warp craft and the Europa so far out of their previous position it didn’t seem if those on the planet knew where they were. There were no broadcasts to their location from the planet, either in the form of telemetry or communication, and the suborbital craft didn’t deviate from any sort of observable pattern. However the two other spacecraft docked up at the primitive space station seem to have undocked from it and started moving in opposite directions. Their current course would take them to either side of the gas giant.

=Avik to Astrometrics. Do you have information over the natives of the planet?=^=

=/\=Rutz here, Commander. Nothing much so far, but I am going to start running some more detailed biological scans. However, it does appear that the locals are unaware of us up here so far. And two more spacecraft have undocked from the space station and are on separate paths to either side of the gas giant.=/\=
