Ashlyn watched Clodagh approach the table for a moment before holding up a PaDD for the officer holding the same data she had shared with the rest of the team. “We’re planning a competition with the security team of the USS Return, this is their personnel data and ship specifications, easily retrievable with basic security access. I suggested a ‘security game’ on Risa. It’s up to the boss to convince the Captain.” Ashlyn had turned her attention back to the PaDDs to distract her from unwelcome thoughts. Being slightly more comfortable being anti-social over socially awkward, flirting can be saved for another time.

Security, USS EuropaClodagh hated Risa. It was an over rated vacation spot that had been used so much it was less a vacation and more an attraction. She had been plenty of times growing up and even a couple times since joining the Academy. Being exposed to it had caused a disliking that left a bad taste in her mouth. Despite that, she smiled to Ashlyn before she turned away. “Yeah, sure,” was all she could muster by way of response.

Security(OOC: Odd, I thought I had replied to this? Maybe I didn’t hit save or something. Either way!)
Ashlyn watched Clodagh’s expression carefully and her comment left a lot to be desired. She lacked the same kind of enthusiasm the others had and Ashlyn wanted to know why. “This is an open forum, if you don’t like the idea feel free to voice your opinion or a counter suggestion. My goal by requesting Risa was to at least get the upper levels to take notice of the idea for consideration. If the idea is shot down immediately, that’s one thing, but if they said ‘we can’t do it on Risa’, that at least leaves the option open to try the idea on another world or starbase. Or is it perhaps that you are not interested in the exercise itself? I was trying to come up with something that would allow the entire team to showcase their skills as we all have things we’re good at and things we’re not as good at.” Ashlyn seems a little flustered at this point, having said more than she planned to. “I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t hesitate to voice your opinion. Your input could result in a change for the better or an explanation for why we have decided on something.” Ashlyn looked around at the table again for a moment then went back to collecting her PaDDs, “I’m probably overstepping myself here so I’m going to shut up now.”

Cassidy couldn’t help but grin. “This is also supposed to be a relaxed evening, without work,” she said to Trenton. “Leave the PaDDs for another day, shall we?” It was not a suggestion, despite her casual tone.
“Come on Clodagh, grab something to drink and pull up a chair,” Abrams said cheerily, clearly at ease in the social environment.
