With the help of Trenton, Shane was escorted back to Sickbay. With a promise to keep his nose clean, she left him in the good hands of the medical staff.

Not knowing if anyone was staffing this branch of Sickbay, he called out. “Anybody here?”

While waiting he reached under the biobed and found a medical tricorder. He ran the scan wand over himself to get a base reading. He was wondering what his medical condition was since he had been released from the stasis pod.

“You can read your file, too, if you wish.” The Andorian Doctor took a sip of hot tea as he eased around the corner from his office, which was dark. His cane tapped on the deck plates as he moved, dark eyes resting on Warwick.

Warwick anxiously turned to face whomever was speaking. He eased when he saw it was Zarath. “You know, you would make a fairly good interrogator, Doc. What with the whole creepy tap-tap of your cane, and such. It could put real fear into your captors hearing your coming.” he added with a crooked smile.

Zarath smiled wanly at that, his antennae curling forward.

“I would like to see that file, and compare it to what is on my medical file.” Warwick actually seemed serious for a bit, although he was tipsy, :”I was hoping we could run those tests that Abrams was asking about. See if we could find out just how long I was in the Pod.”

“What makes you think it isn’t your medical file that I was referring to?” The Andorian raised a while eyebrow. He went on, though, not expecting an answer to that particular question. “Very well, which tests would you like me to run?” He offered a PaDD to Warwick, which contained his medical file and nothing else.

Warwick had started to like Zareth. He felt they thought alike on several subjects. “Let’s try a simple analysis first. Can you see if my last transporter trace is still in the ship’s computer? It will be under my Carson Lowe alias, and be about seven years old. If so, let’s put it up on the screen and compare it to the readings in my file.”

“Once we see them side by side, we can figure out what tests to run. Cellular degradation in the brain tissue. Bone density readings. Bilirubin levels in my liver, to name a few.” He scanned his medical file. “it’s a place to start at least.”
