Zarath and Warwick gathered the data they would need for the procedure, and headed up one deck to the nearest Transporter. After telling the NCO on duty what they needed to do, she checked the viability of the transporter trace and found it had degraded very little. It would be a viable for use.

After a few more moments, the NCO announced that she was ready. Shane looked over at the pair, “Let’s hope this works.”

He climbed onto the platform and onto a transport pad. With a nod, the transporters unique whine began as well as the swirl of blue light as Warwick’s body was dematerialized. With a few touches to the console, the re-materialization process began using the stored transporter trace. It only took a few seconds for the transporter process to complete it’s cycle.

A slightly younger Shane Warwick stood on the platform. Wearing a blue hued Starfleet uniform with the two single colored pips of a full Lieutenant, the Doctor looked at the two others in the room. he stepped off the platform and extended his hand to Zarath.

“Hello, I don’t believe we have met. I’m Doctor Carson Lowe.”
- Warwick or Lowe?

Is it possible that the newly ‘restored’ Warwick has no memory of the passage of time? Is he stuck at the point of time that the transporter trace was created?
This process had been used once before on him, but it was to cleanse his body of a toxin that had been injected an hour previously.

Is Warwick now a man out of time? Only time will tell.

Warwick or Lowe?

Zarath had carefully observed the entire operation. Now he moved forward and shook hands with Warwick, seemingly unperturbed. He smiled and gave his gravelly reply. “Doctor Zarath, Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Lowe, is it? I’d like you to come down to Sickbay for an examination if you don’t mind… Standard boarding procedure.” While they spoke he casually eyed the man up and down, making mental notes of the changes in his face and body. Those which he could see, at least. Likewise, the hand he hadn’t used to shake had been used to turn on the tricorder in his coat pocket and run a cursory scan without anyone’s knowledge…

Lowe smiled back to Zarath and gave his hand a hearty shake. “Of course, Doctor.” He replied in answer to his request for an examination. As the pair left the transporter room, Lowe added, “Maybe that would be best. I’m having a hard time remembering things right now.”

“Is the Counselor aboard? Maybe they can help me with my memory?”

Warwick/ Lowe

“Are you having trouble with any sensory input? Hearing? Vision?” Zarath asked as they moved down the corridor. “Of course, I can call Dr. Nox if you wish to see her. Is it only short-term memory you’re having trouble with? What’s the last thing you can remember?” The Andorian pulled a small PaDD from his lab coat and paused to make a quick note, cane hanging from his elbow.

Shane/Carson was having a difficult time as Zorarth was asking his questions with machine gun speed. While they walked, he attempted to answer the questions as best he could.

“No. No problems with hearing or vision…I can hear you just fine.”
“When I mean when I say I’m having memory issues are things are just not the same. For example, You, for one. When I went to the transporter not too long ago, there were no Andorian Doctors aboard the Europa. I should know, as we had a very small officer corps over in Sickbay. I come back from being transported, and here you are.”

As the pair continued down the corridor a female crewman walked by. Carson/Shane locked eyes on her and his gaze followed her until she had walked out of his line of sight.
“And I would have definitely would have remember her.” he stated pointing his finger in the direction the crewman had gone.

“Ah… last thing I remember. I had asked the Captain for a leave of absence to take care of a personal issue.”

  • Warwick/Lowe

The Andorian made a note in his PaDD. Subject demonstrates healthy libido… Then he tucked the PaDD back under his arm and continued. “I see. This issue was a personal one… Of a medical nature?” He asked.
