With the dust settled from the power fluctuations and the stuck turbolift, Cassidy made sure Vora was okay after having her arm reset and went to check on the other occupant of the turbolift. Approaching the office, Abrams wasn’t entirely sure what to say to the XO, but she knew that look of panic and while it surprised her coming from a Vulcan, she didn’t know the XO very well and thus had no idea if emotional control was something she strived for, or had, or anything. What she did know was that once the adrenaline wore off, people could be in a strange place mentally and she wanted to make sure the woman was okay.

Abrams, COS

Avik had scooped the last of the dirt into the toppled pot when she caught the door’s chime. She paused long enough to debate on her actions then set the pot, with plant, back onto the shelving unit. While wiping her hands clean, she called to the door.

“Come in.”

Upon entering, the room held a bit of chaos that strayed far from the orderliness of past visits. A few decorations had been tossed and scattered about the floor. Some shattered into pieces while others thankfully remained intact. Unwilling to put her duties aside, Avik continued to finish her original task.

Stepping in, Abrams took in the space with a keen eye and her concern grew immediately.

“Are you here to file a report over the turbolift incident or has something else happened?” She asked when she noticed Abrams enter.

–XO, Avik, Lt. Cmdr

“The report can wait,” Cassidy said, moving in closer. “Mostly I just wanted to check in on you and see how you were. Can I help tidy at all?” she said gently.

Abrams, COS

“I appreciate your assistance. I knocked over some holo displays from that shelf,” Avik pointed to the corner she had been about to address before the COS came in.

“As for my condition, I am doing much better than earlier. The experience was unexpected and I was ill prepared for it.” She replied as she began to pull up the fallen datapads from the floor nearest her desk.

OOC: Small bump to put this back on the board.
