After meeting with the Europa‘s security chief, Stephen returned to his quarters to review the other DH’s profiles. He skimmed through the first two, then got to Lieutenant Nox’s file, which he began to skim through as well.

Of course, as any sane person with Stephen’s newly-acquired clearance level would, he stopped and stared as soon as he caught the words “alternate universe.” Then he stared some more. Then he hastily read through the rest of the file. Then he stood up and speed-walked out the door to the turbolift.

A few minutes later he arrived at the Counselor’s office and rang the bell, actively putting in effort to keep his feet from jittering in excitement.

The door did not open. It seemed Siennadye Nox was not in her office but rather at present enjoying her lunch in the Arboretum, sitting on a bench and not knowing someone wished to speak with her.

After a few moments, Stephen rang the bell again, then again, his feet gradually slowing down in their jittering. Finally, he disappointedly turned away from the door and walked back to his own quarters.

After minute or two of wallowing in disappointment and contemplating getting in the hot tub, Stephen had a moment of realization, that being that it would be completely normal for him to just contact the Counselor directly. So with a shake of his head at himself, he touched his commbadge. =^= Stous to Lieutenant Nox, please report to… =^= he paused for a moment, remembering Siennadye’s past with alternate-Johann. Normal-Johann, of course, resided in his quarters just next door. If not here, or her office, which would be quite odd, then where? he thought.

Then, of course, he had an oh-so-very-ironic idea. =^= …to the Arboretum, at your earliest convenience. =^= He headed for the turbolift, making his own way to Deck 5.
