The corridors were lit and the nameless ensigns were around doing what nameless ensigns do between scenes when they are in the background, one of them even seemed to be in the process of picking up something and holding it at arms length.“That cat, doing its business anywhere,” the NE was muttering, “wouldn’t want the captain to be putting his foot into it, would we? Anyone know where it went?”
A couple of others were pointing to the turbolift door at the end of the corridor.
“Did anyone think to pick it up?” The cleaning NE asked.
They shook their heads.
“Good luck anyone finding where it went, with that turbolift, it could go anywhere on the ship,” the cleaning NE said, “if it is found, we’ll have to talk it, tell it it is a good cat, and a pretty cat and a clever cat and a …”
”… or we could just give it to it’s owner and tell them to feed it and take better care of it.” one of the other NEs said.
“And not let it go on the bridge,” another one said.

OOC: There you go ShaunP’Mala Dawes, the half-Vulcan doctor, had left the Bridge at the same time as the Europa had also came across a distress signal that was apparently so distressing that is caused Vora Zorell to go into a sort of an eidetic shock.
And instead of trying to figure out what that meant, the Ensign was chasing a cat. Of course.
“Any of you see a cat? Black? About the size of a big breadbox?” P’Mala said out loud.
