If any of you know of a good possible CMO, please let Luke know, as acting CO in this transition phase, I’m leaving the decision up to him. Until there is a new CO though, we’ll continue with the sim and everything else as usual, I will stick around IC until there is a new CO, but leave the decisions more up to Luke now.

Indeed D has ever had enigmatic and interesting character and role play style. I hope that she may in time return to us, and that the health issues in her family may improve.

You all are very kind and I’ve missed you so much!! During all the difficulties here I sank into a dark, dark depression and couldn’t seem to fight my way out of it. It took a light going on above my head, a true ‘eureka’ moment, for me to understand what had happened. I’ve always used STF as my personal therapy. Its a place where I can vicariously live out anger and frustration, love and friendships etc where I can’t in real life. During the tough times here at home, I didn’t have that outlet and that’s when the depression started. I was actually driving in my car when the realization of what was going on hit me. Since then, I have been in contact with Luke and asked if Sage could come back. I understand that things moved on in my absence and that’s cool. I don’t know what position she will wind up in, but I need to write her. I hope you all will be patient with me. This is the only ship I am continuing on for now.

D, I’m so sorry you’ve been facing difficulties IRL, but am extremely happy Sage won’t be leaving us after all. I couldn’t imagine RPing without you. I’m not going to speak for Luke, but I certainly haven’t seen Sage’s departure mentioned anywhere IC. When we left off she was with the away team aboard the Merry. The away team came back safe and sound, had a briefing, and now a new away team is heading to the planet. That’s about it!

A hearty welcome back to you D! I can relate that there is something therapeutic about this place and I’ve dipped my toes into that now and again at need.
Charley pretty much hit it on the head there with the away team coming back and then the meeting to get teams ready for a look see on the planet. As nobody has launched at all, and the teams just getting squared away you are in a good place to dive back in.
- GeneD. I’m so happy both for you and for the Genny. Both you and Sage belong here and it makes me even more sad that I have to leave - if that’s even possible - but I just saw that you have a great, great new Captain and I’m so happy for all of you because the best Captain for this ship is one who knows this crew and you wonderful players. So welcome back D. and CONGRATS Luke!
I may just pop in and read how our CSO is dealing with Calvin becoming the Captain - LOL ;-) He will need Riley more than ever.
