After a good discussion with the Captain, Magnus made his way down to Deck 3. After a few moments, he was in the Sickbay, looking around for an available Doctor.

Magnus - XO

Someone side stepped around him to avoid colliding with him. They had clearly been distracted and when the head lifted, embarrassment flooded the face of the woman gazing at him. “Sorry, Sir!” she said, dropping her hand which carried a PADD. “Can I help you?”

The ensign had a dark mass of wavy chocolate brown hair that was pulled off her face and secured in a twirled mass at the back of her head. The faint spots that traced along her hairline was much softer than those one would find with a Trill and her grey eyes took in the XO intently, if tired. She was a bit older than one might expect from someone of her rank, but medical training did take longer than the average degree and career progression.

Magnus smiled his usual charming smile “No worries Ensign” He looked down at the PaDD and his smile widened “I’m Commander Magnus Peterson, I think someone here is supposed to poke and prod me until I’m fit for duty?” He joked.

Looking over at the biobeds, she scanned the situation and gestured. “Lucky for you, I am one of those someone’s. I’m Doctor Valleea. I can take care of the scans and such, unless you’d rather wait for the for Chief?” It was a preference some CMOs had to meet the command staff and build that rapport, but not only did Sage trust her, she was perfectly capable of handling a physical, even if she’d much rather be doing just about anything else that was more demanding of her mind and skills.

Magnus continued his smile “No, no. I can bother Doctor Brennan at some other point, first come first served as they say” He said twisting the saying slightly. He looked around the Sickbay “Please, lead the way.”

With a crisp nod, the doctor moved swiftly through the main treatment area towards an empty bed. She looked at him and silently patted it. Her movements were fluid-graceful even- though with her impeccable posture and very intentional demeanour, Valleea exuded a sense of high proficiency. It wasn’t robotic, but just a sense that she’d rather get through the rote parts of any exchange as quickly and smoothly as possible. “Allergies, injuries or accidents not on your file we should know about, Sir?” she said, glancing at him briefly as she brought up his medical file to see if there was anything to note

Ensign Valleea, Doctor

Magnus to a seat. He was still looking around the room as if he hadn’t seen a Sickbay in some time “Most everything should be up to date, although I did sprain my left shoulder a few weeks ago during a training session with a rather spry Cadet from Andor” His hand instinctively rubbing the previously injured spot “But I think they would have put it in. I sent my updated files when I arrived” He turned his gaze on the Ensign. His medical records showed no unusual entries for the past two decades. Some sprains, A few broken limbs, the occasional phaser burn and at least two puncture wound. Fairly standard when considering his career as a Security Officer and a fairly active lifestyle.

However, the first few years of his career were the largest collections of injuries, having clearly suffered greatly throughout the Dominion war during his first Years in the service. According to the latest report his body was still covered in scar tissue from that time. It was noted that he had chosen to remove any similar scars after the war. There was also noted that he was allergic to shrimp.
