Deeg couldn’t help but do a slow face palm at what Marius said. Paranoid. He has nothing on him for paranoid. The reply was interesting though. Thinking they were a Pallasian hit squad. What he would take from that was a ‘no and yes’ by Marius’ reply. Forever hold their peace? In other words speak or else? Perhaps they will find out something more. But that question remained - why did they need pirates? Where they or simply revolutionaries rebelling against the government? Which made them rather … distant out of the way revolutionaries … but two groups. One willing to pack up and leave to go back to the homeworld en masse in the hope of what? A glimpse of the aliens? They’d have done better to sit tight and that the aliens came to them. And one group - well armed - hiding in an old mining tunnel.

Calvin smirked, “Well that’s them trying to get the upper hand. The easiest way to negate a star-ship is to move the fight out of space.” He gestured to open the comm channel.

OOC Here’s the bad new all I’m going on VaCa for about two weeks so Ill have to declare a leave. Hjortur Ingi, will have to keep the line moving.

Deeg pondered that. One third impulse would get them there soon enough but not that soon that they’d not have a little time to think. “Do we keep talking to the so called security force on the colony?” He inquired. At their tech however, another thought came to mind. “We could move between the moon and the colony and be hidden and they might think we’ve gone. That way we can just talk with the pirates and say we missed any transmissions with the planets in the way. Just a thought.”
Face to face. “Captain,” he mused. “We have kept our tech away from the general Pallasian people - they know we have a warp capability but not just how. They know we can move pretty good on impulse, and we shuttle down. If these people are pirates/revolutionaries and such or just disaffected people they are not connected with the Pallasians. We can employ some shock and awe and see what they do. Beam them aboard to meet us face to face.” If he kept talking like this he was sure he was going to be scouring plasma lines pretty quick.
- Deeg NE engTactical scans reveal that the technology they have are not as advanced as the Pallasian main forces. However, their base had quite a number of hidden spaces that could be used either for escape or for ambushes. The Pallasian technology had only x-ray and infra-red technology to see beyond solid walls but the bases had counter measures.

Deeg pondered the hidden spaces and bolt holes that they had. How deep might they go? “Scanning and assessing the safety of beaming in and out safely and how far we could go in before having transporter issues.” Beaming in was one thing but he wanted to make sure they could beam out again.
- Deeg, NE EngThe transporter would have no problems in the base. In fact, a tricorder and a phaser was all was needed to weed out all potential ambushes.

OOC: Luke asked me to puppeteer Captain Marius until he returns to keep this side of the Sim going. I’ll be keeping the posts brief and simple as this is very much not my character.
