NE Rudder quietly activated his comm badgh and spoke low in the hopes that Tom couldn’t hear him.
“Rudder to Captain Marius, there’s an Internal Security officer on the bridge trying to give us orders.”

The crew roster wouldn’t be erased from memory… the order he gave might be forgotten but second hand recorded information would last as long as normally gained information.
Marius retapped his badge, “Mr Jarvis, knowing your own situation in a way, others are unlike to remember its incumbent on you to identify yourself to the crew you order. You can’t let them go into situations blind.=^=
