Greetings all,
For anyone who doesn’t know me, I’m Russell, or the Tribble, and I am pleased to be your GM for the next little while (4 months is the aim with this mission, but it could go longer). I hope to entertain you and challenge you while I’m here with you as your GM.
I joined the club slightly before Gene Gibbs during Jen Herr’s first term as President. I was a Cadet who became Chief Engineer who became Counsellor, who became CO of the Columbia in the Academy (which is no longer around). I’ve been CO of the Draco and XO of the Olympic (neither of which are around anymore either) and CO of the Constellation (also no longer around). I have also been Governor of Oed V in the past (which is still around) and a very brief CO of the Atlantis (which is also still around). I’ve been GM of various ships across the years, before stepping down and retiring as a GM. Just like singers, I’ve come out of retirement and am going to try my skills of GMing once again.
In ‘The SORAS Incident’, there’ll be times for you all, regardless of department, to be involved in the action and to shine. Some of the opportunities may be obscure … but they will be there. As Luke and I have said in the ‘Posting’ thread contact Luke, Hjortur or myself if you find yourself uncertain of what you can or should do and we’ll help.
I am also happy throughout the mission for you to contact me if you have an idea for your character. I can be contacted through my contact form or via Discord where I am Tribble. You should also keep an eye on my monthly GM reports in Command … you never know when a hint or a suggestion will be offered in my report.
Have fun and remember to always brush your Wookie before taking him out in public.
