Tinga was feeling as if she were dying up there when she saw Cross’ had go up, but she also saw Nkosenye, he was very hard to miss after all.

“Doctor Cross, I can get to you in a minute but now, I’d like out chief of security, Lieutenant Nkosenye to join me on stage please. You’re the perfect person to help me explain exactly what I’m trying to talk about.” she said from the stage.

Nkosenye stood up to his towering height and made his way to the front of the lecture hall. “Lieutenant, how may I be of assistance?” he asked, his voice a low rumble across the room.

When Tinga called Nkosenye Cross lowered her hand, now she was more interested eyeing ‘her’ handsome man.

Captain Glen used to opportunity to speak to Cross. He whispered, “I need your advice. I just met with Admiral Bradbury and he didn’t seem right.”

Cross bend down slightly towards him ‘’Really Captain how so?’‘ she asked.

“He asked me to make an inspection of Red Squad, but he was forgetting things. He was distant, like he was elsewhere. He got a phone call that totally threw him off. I think a Doctor ought to see him. I’m not sure he is well.” Glen tried to be as quiet as possible. Which wasn’t that hard as the hall was filled with laughter from the cadets at something that Nkosenye had just said to Tinga.

Cross paused thinking before commencing ‘’Have you know this Admiral before Captain or has this been your first encounter with him and why did he ask you to inspect the Red Squad? Any particular reason?’‘ the doctor found it strange that the Captain who had just returned back to Earth and most probably desperately needed to see his family would be ordered to inspect a Squad which Cross thought to be both unjust and unreasonable.

“No, I’ve never met him before… I guess he could always have acted strangely? He said he wanted me to inspect them because… I can’t remember his words… but he thought I was respected… the thing is, respect must be earned, and I really don’t want to waste whatever respect I may have with Red Squad by some fool’s errand.”

‘’Maybe ‘’ Cross replied ‘’I can check it out with others who have known him for some time if you so wish and would recommend you inquire about the squad..no use wasting your time on unnecessary task’‘ the female doctor replied ‘’But at this point we should not jump to conclusions, maybe the Admiral has his reason for requesting
the inspection’‘.
At this point there was not much they could do but speculate since they had no firm evidence.
