After a few minutes the ground was cleaned up and the NE emerged dressed once more in a new uniform. “..Well that was quite embarrassing! I swear the Red Shirt Union is going to hear about this when we get back!” He said with a huff grumbling and walking off.

For now it seemed the oddities in engineering were at an end as the ship was felt dropping from warp.

“Indeed, Chief I’m going to need to look at the internal sensors for when this all happened because I don’t have the slightest clue what went on.” He grabbed his communicator =^=Engineering to Bridge, this is Lieutenant Grey. The situation seems to be solved, a young man was covered in some sort of fish and accompanying sauce. I have taken some samples for testing. We received a randomized signal on one of the higher EM bands when I started scanning but it disappeared. If I were a betting man I’d say something managed to transmute the man’s shirt into a completely different object without adhering to any known principles of logic or equivalent exchange. I recommend running an internal sensor scan of at least level 3=^= He reported.

=/\= Captain Glen here, Lt. Make this a top priority. Please use whatever tools you have available to get to the bottom of this. I need to know if it is related to the influence of the Reality Stone or to something else. If it is the Reality Stone, can we block it, prevent it or ameliorate the effects? How much of a danger does it pose to our systems? And can we use the strength and direction of the effects to find the stone? And yes, I realize that last question is a big ask! =/\=

Jasper went and started cleaning up after the messes. But making sure that the CSO got there samples and samples. Before he started to clean and decontaminate everything that was interfered with. Along with putting away the decon chamber too. By the time he was done and got everything put away, it was time for him to go off duty. Jasper sighed hard and did not say anything to anyone as he signed off his terminal. He was about to leave.

“Alright then. Internal scans, I need them. Samples, I need them. Ideas, I have plenty but would appreciate any other you might have, no idea is stupid except the really stupid ones” Will said, clapping his hands once.

CSO

“Maybe doing some non-conventional scans that are not normally used in standard scans from tricorders or scanners.” Jasper added as he waited a minute to see if he could think of anything more.

Internal scans showed nothing at present, not were their samples to be had anymore. For now it seems here in engineering at least there was nothing more to do. Perhaps the bridge or their new destination would hold more clues.

Tia came into engineering then. Her uniform was a mess of grease and other untellable things. Her hair, normally braided and neat, was half undone. And she looked like she’d been crawling around in jeffries tubes for days rather than merely running around the ship for the last hour or two. “Ok, so in coming here I have had to fix at least three anomalous issues. All seem to have begun recently. Do we have anything here that will tell us what’s going on? I mean, replicators spitting out clothes instead of food, food appearing for no reason in the middle of the decks, and there was a bush growing out of junction box 4 on deck 7.” She was caught between giggles and rage. Something was going on and she intended to find out what.

It was then she realized that there were sensors set up and a mess on the floor. “Ok, what happened ‘here’? And does anyone have any ideas how we can stop these shenanigans from happening?”

Will shrugged “We have some anomalous scans and plenty of fish, I’m sending samples to the labs to be checked up on. The Captain mentioned something about a reality stone that could be messing with our… well reality. He wants us to find a way to stop it but as far as I can tell there isn’t anything to physically stop so until we get a more accurate reading on whatever shifted reality I don’t think there is much to do. I’m gonna leave these scanners around here to gather more static data and hopefully, whenever it happens again we’ll have a more active reading. I’m gonna go to the bridge and see if there’s anything I can do that’s useful” He started moving towards the exit.

CSO

Jasper left as the chief engineer finally made there Entrance into Engineering. He moved on to get out of the way of the other officers coming into the area. He knew the CSO will have no problems giving the chief the information they wanted. As Jasper made his way back to his cabin to change and get cleaned up and relax for the evening.
