=^=Shuttle to Merri. We’ll be about a half hour until we reach the target coordinates.=^=

=/\= Thank you Lieutenant. We are tracking you. You’re looking good. =/\= Glen made reply.

“Any further useful data back from the probes?” Glen asked. “Or from the refocused sensors?”

“Link the shuttle to the main viewscreen so that we can see what they see,” instructed Glen.

As the Merrimack would observe the shuttle (seeing what they saw in the other post!) a hail would come in from the Avenger.

“Acknowledge the hail,” Glen told the Communications officer standing in for Tinga, “and put Captain Rogers through.”

=/\= Captain Rogers. How is it going at your end? =/\= Glen asked the Avenger’s Captain. =/\= Over here we’ve been experiencing more of those weird and fantastical notions. But you’ve caught us at a pivotal moment. Our shuttlecraft has discovered a large underwater pyramidal structure with a glowing top. I’m not certain what we should do? I mean, it’s not like we can just knock on the front door. Or, maybe that’s exactly it! =/\=

=/\= An interesting find Captain! More interesting is that this comet isn’t really a comet that we’re following but a hollow spheroid of some sort. Its make up is unlike anything on record in the metallurgy standpoint but it is giving off powerful energy readings inside that seem similar to what you’re tracking. Perhaps the Finite stone is in two parts? It wouldn’t fit what we know but then again with something so powerful and old who knows what happened to it?=/\= Rogers said.

=/\= Something as powerful as this Reality Stone, maybe its creators separated it into two parts for safety and safe keeping… so that they couldn’t accidentally be put back together… …What is the eccentricity of the orbit of the sphere? I’m just wondering how often these two objects would get as close as they are right now? Maybe there is no accident to the meeting? …By the way, Steve? Can I call you Steve? my shuttle looks like it has arrived at the pyramid. I have to speak to them. =/\= Glen replied.

=/\= I might suggest seeing if there is some way inside the pyramid if possible, further investigation is obviously needed, and I’ll be heading over with my own away team to this sphere structure to see what we find. =/\= He suggested.

=/\= I will do that. I look forward to speaking again as soon as I have something more tangible to report. =/\= Glen said

“Seems the whole system is an enigma.” Kord said to no-one in particular.

“We seem have found the right location anyhow,” replied Glen. “I was actually expecting to be looking for weeks and not find a single thing.”

=^=Captain, are you receiving these readings? I suggest we dock the shuttle and try to enter the pyramid.=^= came in a message from the shuttle.

=/\= Yes, Tinga. The video feed is particularly clear. I was going to suggest that you try to enter, provided that you think it is safe. Captain Rogers has found similar energy readings from a similar structure inside a sphere wrapped up in a comet. He is also going to investigate more closely. They might be two parts of the same whole. Take it easy and slowly. We will watch your progress from here. =/\= Glen replied.

=^=Acknowledged sir. I’m curious to find out if that theory is correct now.=^=

Glen would watch their progress from the comfort of the Captain’d chair. He wished now that he had sent a security officer along with the team, but he kept his thoughts to himself so as not to cause concern among the rest of the Bridge crew.

Nkosenye unknowingly shared the Captain’s thoughts, but likewise keot them to himself. He monitored the shuttle’s trajectory as it descended into the unknown.
