OOC: I’m a little late to the party but…
IC:
Inola stepped into Sickbay and spared a moment to look around. She headed over to the first nurse she saw. “Excuse me, I’m reporting for my physical. Who should I go to for that?”
-Inola, Comms

In the place of the pips the Coms Officer expected to see were gold non-com stripes as the older man turned from his inventory and restock duties.

Seeing an officer he did not recognize he came to attention, “Have a seat if you like M’am and I will round up a Doctor for you.” Mooney indicated an unoccupied bio-bed with his black prosthetic hand, then turned and disappeared deeper in to sickbay to inform the CMO of a fresh victim and to see who he would assign to do the physical.

MCPO Mooney

She smiled up at the man and nodded gratefully. “Thank you very much.” Inola moved to the biobed he had indicated and sat down. As soon as he had left, she sighed. “Is everyone on this ship taller than me?”
-Inola, Comms

OOC: If you like, Saark could be the doctor here? :)

~ Nicole | Lt. Saark

Mooney knocked on the lieutenants door frame, “LT, we have a boarding physical waiting, who do you want to do it?” The Master Chief has developed an easy respect for his devision Officer and it showed in his relaxed but respectful manner.

MCPO Mooney

OOC: sorry for my tardiness here! Aha

IC:
“I can take care of it, MCPO Mooney. I haven’t much more work to do here.” said the Lieutenant, standing from his desk and exiting his office. He nodded slightly to Mooney as he passed, before turning to the new crewmember. Extending a hand to Inola, he said, “You must be our new crew member. I am Lieutenant Saark, the Merrimack’s chief medical officer.” He said, introducing himself. “I will handle your boarding physical.”

~ Lt Saark, CMO

“Thank you doctor.” Inola smiled, noting that he was, unfortunately much taller than her. She took his hand, talking while she shook it. “Lieutenant Inola. I’m the new communications officer. I believe we encountered each other earlier, but I’m glad I get to actually meet you.”
-Inola, Comms

Mooney found other work to do deeper in the med bay, wishing both to provide the officers an appearance of privacy wile staying in ear shot Incase he was needed. Not a high probability on a boarding physical but one never knew.

MCPO Mooney

Saark nodded. “Likewise. On that note, is there anything relevant excluded from your file that I should be aware of? Relevant things might include eating or sleeping habit changes, or trips outside federation space?” He asked her, a standard question for a boarding eval.

~ Lt Saark, CMO

Inola shook her head. “I was on Starbase 78 for a while, then came straight here. It was close to the border, but I never went anywhere.”
-Inola, Comms

Saark nodded once again. “I’ve heard good things about that Starbase,” he commented, before picking up the tricorder. “I will do a quick scan to make sure everything looks right.” He told her, waiting a moment for a reply.

He scanned her from head to toe with the tricorder, watching the little screen for any anomalies.

~ Lt Saark, CMO

Inola smiled. “It wasn’t bad, just uneventful.” She simply nodded in acknowledgement, falling silent while he scanned.
-Inola, Comms

“Uneventful is usually a good thing,” Saark pointed out. Finishing his scan, he looked at the screen to check the results. “The Merrimack is known for its… excitement.” He added. “Though I have not been posted here for very long myself.”

~ Lt Saark, CMO

Inola chuckled softly. “It better be exciting. I took the transfer for a reason.” She shrugged. “How did you end up here, doctor?”
-Inola, Comms

“I requested the transfer. Due to my specialties, specifically alien biology, the Merrimack was the obvious choice.” He told her. “Everything looks normal.” He said, reporting the tricorder’s findings to her. “You are cleared for duty, Lieutenant.”

~ Lt. Saark, CMO

Inola stood up and nodded. “Thank you Lieutenant Saark.” She offered a small smile. “I’ll see you around, but I hope I won’t be in here too much.”
-Inola, Comms
