=^=Yes, sir. One of the Alstair ships helped stabilize the vessel and we managed to tow it into orbit. The signal we intercepted seems to have been some sort of signal flare set up so you could notice it from a distance, I have not yet determined how it was set up. The locals seem excited to have one of their sleeper ships back=^= He explained.
=/\= That’s good news. There is still one more ship out there somewhere, of course, but don’t worry, I won’t send you to look for it. I am sorry, you’ve missed the tours and the meal down here. It’s not exactly a party, but it has all gone very well so far. At least now you’ve put all those command hours under your belt you will qualify to take those senior officers exams. =/\=

A little bit later as the Merrimack and crew sat in orbit, the NE at comms turned. “..Sir? We’re getting a comm hail from the nearby Alstair cargo ship that brought in the sleeper ship with us. They are requesting any engineering and medical help we could spare in going through the logs, systems, and thawing out the survivors on the ship. If we’re interested in helping that is.” She said.
William sat up straighter and turned around to face the comms officer “Send a message to whoever was left in charge of engineering and Sickbay, have them organize a small team to transport over. Each team is to have an escort of Security officers” He added the latter as an afterthought. “Contact the Captain or first officer whichever is free and get their approval or not. Tell the Alstair ship that we’ll be in touch in a few minutes.” He wouldn’t mind personally sending over a crew to assist with this but he felt as if ultimate approval over committing personelle for something like this required senior approval
