OOC:It’s been a hot minute since I got to play make-believe here. :) Is the state of the sim such that a shuttle could just, say, drop me off? Would it be too weird if I just RP’d as if I had been here the whole time?

Either of those options is okay with me. We are making first contact with a new species on the edges of known space, so maybe the latter option is more likely. We are mid-Sim, but the posting rate is so slow here that you could read the whole thing in a few hours if you wanted to.
Although, you are human, you could, if you wish, choose some cultural or national background and change your character profile to Human (**) Also add age height, and weight. Or I can do it for you if you wish. Write the weight in lbs and height in 5’ 10” format as it looks nicer. I know they should be using metric but it’s American TV!
