There was a long pause before the rock began to sink some slowly and the cries faded out........
Finally after another moment the transporter chief came over comms =/\= We got two Alstairians one older one a child both are on their way to sickbay, they got battered limbs and possible internal compression injuries. We also got some of the asteroid up here. Mostly its made of copper and iron..=/\= He reported.
Looking to Glen the First it seems did not fully comprehend things through the UT. =/\= Did they get those trapped out safely? =/\= She asked.
Glen replied to her, =/\= For the love of mercy, I hope so! They have been safely transported aboard the Merrimack but they do have some injuries resulting from the impact. They are being taken to our Sickbay for treatment by our doctors. We can confirm that this was the site of the meteorite crater as we picked up a chunk of that too! Your planet has done extremely well to develop at all under an excessive planetary pressure such as this kind of cratering. =/\=
Kord was going around giving first aid to civilians that would accept his help.

After a moment the First nodded, looking about it seemed the emergency services had things more or less in hand. =/\= We should return to the Council chambers. I am sure they have heard of the impact by now and will want to ensure you are safe and sound. =/\= She suggested. =/\= Any further help they can then inquire with you, in truth I am unsure what you could provide right now. =/\= she added.

There was the usual pause, before the First nodded some, =/\= I am sure the Tri-Council will agree to your aide, for now though we should return there, local emergency forces seem to have arrived and have this in order, and the worse of the injured are already being cared for to the best of our abilities. =/\= She said, nodding as while they had been helping the last of the lost more emergency service personnel were arriving and moving to action. Another group was nearby securing the asteroid impact site and remains as if it were some foul beast to be disposed of. Given the Alstarian paranoia on such things it probably in their distant past was such a thing to be done.
