I’m retiring from STF. I’ve been having a hard time motivating myself to play and it’s especially hard whenever I deal with a depression episode.
It was a lot of fun playing with you all and I appreciate your patience with me as I’ve struggled through the last years here.

Could I ask one thing please? No one ever writes themselves off the ship. Could you just do that please?
This applies to everyone else too. To me it is just courtesy, but no one does it. Once, when I was much more of a newbie here, I wrote someone off with their death. It wasn’t my character, I know that, but I felt they couldn’t just disappear for no good reason. Well, the member whose character it was went ape-s**t. They said they wanted to use them again (difficult as the Merrimack was the only alt-universe ship and set 100 years before all other ships at that time). Anyway, please never just disappear!
Second thing, does anyone know someone who would be a good right-hand man, or woman. I’m not adverse to a number one!

I’m going to be away until early November from now. I will post a LOA but I might try to post still. It appears that the Sim is closing so I may not post again before it finishes. Thank you Robert for always finding something new and different for us.
I had a thought about Kord when posting today. Given the longer lifespans of the Alstaireans, Kord might like to stay behind with them and feel more at home there than in the Federation. An almost immortal man must tire of making friends, seeing them die, making new friends, and then there is the cyclical repetition that comes with “new2 fashions, and “new” brooms sweeping clean, and “new” methods of doing old tasks. He could advise them and maybe help them towards UFP membership - an ambassador of sorts?

As for a new XO and new blood I havent had much success sadly. If you get time to pop into discord or post on the site elsewhere of our needs and talk with our FCOMM in black fleet I think that’d help alot. I got alot on my plate atm to take up full recruiting drive for another ship beyond my own, plus my own real life work and stuff.
I’ll still do what I can to help and keep active on things for everyone.

I’m back. Catching up. I’ll think of something to post and I’ll mention recruitment when replying to the FCOMM email. Still don’t know what happended to Brian but Maria Theresa Bugeja will return as Dr Cross to fill the CMO post. I will add her to the roster shortly.
