All forms in the realm of living matter can easily be reduced to the egg form without violating the individual variations of form. This basic form varies with length, width and thickness. It may appear in subdivisions of the same form, as in worms; but whether as a whole or in part, the basic form of living matter always remains the same egg form. the female doctor thought to herself just so she’s off the rails and those present would look at her with a blank expression.

‘’I’m not a scientist but from what I learned such a consistent uniformity of the organic form must correspond to a fundamental law of nature and a natural law of cosmic dimensions. For the basic biological form is universal, regardless of climate or geology. It is as if cosmic orgone energy, in organizing living substance, obeyed only one law, its own law of motion’‘.

‘’Why not check for any contamination and if its in the all clear scan it with the Microtome Imaging technique, using a series of microscopic narrow beam x-ray’s to derive information on a cellular level.’‘ Cross suggested .

OOC: Small title update and bump for this thread!

Looking over the spheres the report could so far reveal the following. Their were 222 of the tiny metal balls. All of them were intact except for the single one they had been able to pry open by a phased laser cutter long so long ago. The outer casing was made up of some kind of steel like alloy about 1 inch thick, below this was another thinner metal casing layer of unknown type but it seemed to hold some kind of sensor dampening properties with it, this layer was barely thicker then a sheet of paper. Inside from that was the organic layer, essentially a small half an inch round layer. The organic innards were green-silver toned in color, their texture if felt was like a thick moss feeling. The entire organic layer was solid through and through, readings seemed to show it gave off minute amounts of energy when exposed to different forms of lighting. Normal lights like those in a lab would generate an energy blip of about 1 x 10 picowatt, which was about the output of a single human cell’s energy consumption on average, this would last until the light was taken away from the organic layer beyond ten feet. Other experiments on the lights showed if something like an artificial solar light from the ships hydroponics lab was used the organic layer generated an energy output of about 3 x 10 decawatts, which again was about the energy output consumption of the human brain depending on various factors. Again like before too once the light source was taken away beyond ten feet the energy production ended. What was greatly interesting about before, during, and after scans on the organic layer was that during energy production the organic layer grew by 3% on the cellular level for the first experiment, while with the second experiment it grew 10% on the cellular level before the energy was removed. Where it got odd however, was after the productions ended the organic layer would decay rapidly back to its original state before either experiment with no discernable negatives.

Showing the report to Cross, NE Stevens spoke then, “..So there is what we’ve learned so far ma’am. They don’t appear to be an egg in any known form that we can make sense of. NE Chris thinks they could maybe be a kind of organic battery, though for what end we’re not sure since they don’t seem to interact with say the child’s sleeping pod, nor do they seem to be edible as there is no real way the child could have opened any of these metal casings on their own with what they had on hand, and we’re pretty sure that had the Alstairians awakened the child they wouldn’t have had the tech either to open them for the child..” He said.

William stormed into his science lab looking extremely cross, his uniform shirt was partially torn and his pants were slightly singed. One of the junior scientists opened his mouth once he saw his department heads state “Not a word” William said with a raised finger “Not a single word” his voice more annoyed that angry “What do we have?” He asked as he grabbed a PaDD reading over the information “Do we have any biological information on the child itself?” He asked.
