Joe had gotten his clothing such as it was. A dull course woven material which resembled burlap and had it pulled over his head. His trousers looked much the same and were crudely cut. He had just sent out the message to the away team to assemble. In the meantime, he was chatting with the transporter operator, and trying to get him to bet him some money on a sporting event.Lt. Verity hurried to the transporter room wearing her bright blue dress uniform, tricorder bag hanging from her shoulder and one of those very thick PaDDs in her hand. She screeched to a halt when she noticed the Lt. Cmdr’s outfit. “Um…were we supposed to dress in the native clothing?” She looked around confused. “I didn’t get the memo.”

Richard entered the transporter room ‘’Yes Lt just pick something up from your wardrobe ‘’ the security replied then stood by the side awaiting orders .The guy was wearing a brown shirt and trousers that had seen better days .

“Yeeaaah, I don’t anything that looks like what you two are wearing. However I guess I can borrow a jumpsuit from engineering.” She quickly left the transporter room and came back in a matter of 10-15 minutes, wearing an old faded grey jumpsuit that was at least two sizes too big. As she jumped on the transporter pad, she placed her instruments on the floor beside her right foot while she bent over to roll up and cuff the legs so they would not drag on the ground when she walked. She did the same to the sleeves. Maybe she looked ridiculous in the jumpsuit but she was ready.

Joe couldn’t help but to smile and shake his head at Verity. Finally, as she seemed to be happy with her looks Joe said to her.” Congratulations Lieutenant you now look like any miner anywhere. Don’t let them see you up close down there they may try to put you to work. All we need now is security and we can get moving. “

Richard took a few steps forward ‘’I’m here Cmdr ‘’ he replied looking around to see if his D’H had arrived.
Richard Sharp.Lance entered the room with a box of phasers for every. “The phasers here are heavy stun phaser they can only stun. The design is a very well-known version of it. It’s not gonna look Starfleet, so therefore, if we do lose it, it will not raise an eyebrow.”

Verity took her phaser and placed it into the right pocket of her jumpsuit. She tucked the side bag, which now contained the tricorder and the PaDD she had brought along, inside on the left of the jumpsuit before she zipped it. The bulge of the bag showed on her left side as she stood there on the transporter pad waiting for it to activate. “Whew! I am ready, let’s go! She said as she made one loud clap with her hand.

Richard already had a phaser tucked in one of the trouser’ s pocket,he wondered why Verity had brought along a padd but he guessed as a science officer she might need it.

” Okay then.” Joe began as he clapped his hands. “If were all checked out here is everyone’s jobs. We’ll land at the base of a man-made hill. It’s the stuff from mines that the Klingon’s thought of as not valuable. It’s probably nothing but a large hill of loose stones. All we want to do is climb the hill and get a good look down into the village. Security you will be on our flanks one at each far side of the hill on lookout. The smart people like Lieutenant Aphelion accompanied by me, who is not so smart but will need to answer questions from the captain later will climb the middle of the hill to get a good look and do a few scans of the village below. Pretty easy.”
Joe stepped up onto the transprter pad and looking around asked, “Any questions? Last chance.”
