Joe had left the bridge immediately after talking to Glen.
Cara had remained on the Bridge looking down the Scope at the Science station, watching what was taking place on the planet surface. She had been so engrossed that she hadn’t notice that Cross had left the Bridge, and hadn’t heard the XO leave anyone else in charge. Kahuna was still resting between his shifts.
Cross had not heard anything from the Cmdr and so decided to contact bridge =/\= Dr Cross ,Cmdr any news from the team? =/\= she asked only to be surprised by someone else replying =/\= The Cmdr has left the bridge ma’am , took a shuttle with two security down to the planet =/\=.
The female doctor was confused =/\= What? And why was I not informed? What’s going on? =/\= at this point Cross was rather worried, thoughts occupied her with unpleasant things or events that have happened or that may happen =/\= Has Kahuna taken command? =/\= she counted on someone else was sitting in the Captain’s chair.
Cara wasn’t sure who was the officer of the deck and who had the conn of the Merrimack. It certainly wasn’t her as a junior science officer.
