Cameron had just nicely finished unpacking his belongings in his quarters . He traveled fairly light, so there wasn’t too much to unpack.
McDuff smiled slightly as he walked the corridors of his new posting. He’d spent the last few years stationed on various Star-bases in various place. But this is where he wanted to be. This is where everyone wants to be… out among the stars, where anything can - and inevitably does - happen. Life aboard a Star-base is fine, but it grows humdrum very rapidly. He was well ready for a change of pace.
Stepping out of the Turbolift on Deck 5. He made his way to the Sickbay entrance. He paused a moment before stepping through the doors. He tugged his uniform tunic down and straighten and smoothed it out here and there. He really did love the look of these Uniforms. Satisfied with his appearance he stepped into Sickbay. Fortunately he seemed to have arrived at a suitable time as things didn’t appear to be too busy.
He tried to catch the attention of a member of the medical team who passed by him;
“Excuse me.” He began politely. “I’ve just come aboard and I’d like to check in, please.”
