Jasper finished his clean up and was sitting on the couch in the living area of his quarters as he stood and left for the main lounge on the ship to try and relax and have some dinner. As the doors parted and he entered the room it was rather quiet at the moment as he moved to a corner booth and took a seat and pulled out a few padds to go over during his dinner and dessert. As the waitress came over to him. “What ya have sir?” the waitress asked him. “I want a double-decker cheeseburger and fries and a hot fudge sundae and a chocolate shake with hot fudge too. And a Coke Classic The Classic.” Jasper said with a small fleeing smile. As the waitress took the order and left to get the meal prepared.
The tall form of the Security Chief came through the door. Nkosenye stood looking around for a place to sit. Before he could decide, shift change came through and bodies began sliding past him and taking tables and chairs. Shaking his head, he moved towards Jasper’s table and said in a low rumble “I suppose the adage ‘He who hesitates is lost’ is appropriate here. Would you mind if I joined you, Ensign?”
