Monitor 7A turned again looking at Jasper =/\= Greetings to you then Ensign, Jasper Ericson of Junior Engineering. Scans have also confirmed your makeup is not on file with expected parameters and records, would you too consent to scan to adjust the local biome to your make up? =/\= It asked.

Tinga listened to NE Smith’s report as she considered Monitor A7’s request.

“Monitor A7. What type of biological make up were you anticipating? I am Andorian which is different from my colleagues. They are both Human.” she explained.

Turning back to Tinga it blinked again then spoke =/\= This monitor station was expecting a genetic profile of the Creators. Your psychological and physical profiles and genetic code beyond this station’s control would be endangered were you to proceed without scans and adjustments made. The Creators were strong and wise, thankfully when your vessel docked at the nearby airlock I was able to adjust this monitoring station and the levels above and below us to match your atmosphere to survive, otherwise your passing and entry would have been......painful.=/\= It stated.

”..Good thing I didn’t go too far then..” Muttered the red shirt NE already competemplating how a painful death would be the last thing he wanted today or ever.

=/\= That is true nameless one.=/\= Turning then back to all three Monitor 7A spoke again =/\= Again inquiry procedures state I must ask once more if you consent to a biological and psychological scan to adjust the local biome further to the next monitoring stations to your survival. Do you consent? =/\= It asked.

Jasper took a moment before he spoke. “You can scan me? ” Jasper commented as he said with a squeak to his voice as it finally cleared. “I consent to the testing.” Jasper said. He wondered if the scans would hurt but he thought that was a bit late for that now. As he waited as calmly as he could.

Tinga knew that a scan of Jasper would suffice. If this monitor based it’s scans on her, her colleagues would probably find it much too cold.

“Will the scan be painful for him?” she asked.

Giving what might be amounted to a quizzical look from the one eyed Orb=/\=..Why would a biological scan be painful?=/\= It asked, then turned without further prompting to emit a blue scanning beam over all three members of the team. The beam tingled a bit over their bodies but was otherwise unassuming. After the second pass Monitor 7A spoke =/\= Scans complete, relaying information to other Monitor stations. =/\= It stated stoically.

Around them the darkish room lit up to more normal lighting tones from small slits in the stone work. The cooler nature of the room and presumably the rest of the pyramid complex also became a bit warmer and lit up over the next few moments. =/\= Environmental and biome adjustments complete. Thank you Lieutenant Tinga and Ensigns Ericson and Nameless One =/\= It stated.

=/\= Safe access to the remainder of this complex is now open to you, please however be advised that discharge of personal carried weapons will still result in a security response. Do you have further questions within the operational scope of this Monitoring Station? =/\= It asked.

Tinga had several questions but decided to take them one at a time.

“How many monitors like you are there in this complex?” she asked.

A comm message came in from the Merrimack, =/\= Tinga, this is Glen. Ask the Orb how many other similar facilities it is in contact with. Captain Roger’s pyramid just lit up and increased temperature at the exact same time as your’s did. =/\=

-Glen, CO

Jasper kept quiet as the others chatted so he would not interrupt them as he continued to do his scans. Then transferring the data to the Merrimack for further study by operations and the science departments. But he nodded to the orb with acknowledgment of his concerns and warnings. As he moved about the room.

Ensign Jasper Ericson - JO Engineer

=^=Acknowledged. That was my next question.=^= Tinga replied.
