Giving what might be amounted to a quizzical look from the one eyed Orb=/\=..Why would a biological scan be painful?=/\= It asked, then turned without further prompting to emit a blue scanning beam over all three members of the team. The beam tingled a bit over their bodies but was otherwise unassuming. After the second pass Monitor 7A spoke =/\= Scans complete, relaying information to other Monitor stations. =/\= It stated stoically.

Around them the darkish room lit up to more normal lighting tones from small slits in the stone work. The cooler nature of the room and presumably the rest of the pyramid complex also became a bit warmer and lit up over the next few moments. =/\= Environmental and biome adjustments complete. Thank you Lieutenant Tinga and Ensigns Ericson and Nameless One =/\= It stated.

=/\= Safe access to the remainder of this complex is now open to you, please however be advised that discharge of personal carried weapons will still result in a security response. Do you have further questions within the operational scope of this Monitoring Station? =/\= It asked.

Tinga had several questions but decided to take them one at a time.

“How many monitors like you are there in this complex?” she asked.

A comm message came in from the Merrimack, =/\= Tinga, this is Glen. Ask the Orb how many other similar facilities it is in contact with. Captain Roger’s pyramid just lit up and increased temperature at the exact same time as yours did. =/\=

-Glen, CO

Jasper kept quiet as the others chatted so he would not interrupt them as he continued to do his scans. Then transferring the data to the Merrimack for further study by operations and the science departments. But he nodded to the orb with acknowledgment of his concerns and warnings. As he moved about the room.

Ensign Jasper Ericson - JO Engineer

=^=Acknowledged. That was my next question.=^= Tinga replied.

After the pause in relying information Monitor 7A spoke again to answer Tinga’s question. =/\= This station has 8 monitoring station and controllers in this complex, with Q-Light connection to 3 other key installations within this system. Have you further questions? =/\= It asked.

GM CockRoach

Tinga was pleased it had answered both questions at once.

“You say these are monitoring stations. What is their purpose? What are they monitoring?” she asked.
