Main Sim - Sickbay - More Temporal Anomalies!

[snip]

It was a little later and two male NE’s helped by two medical NE’s came into the sickbay on stretchers. The one medical NE looked up hollering. “..We need the chief over here stat! Got two more NE’s having temporal bodily trauma!” He said.

Saark had been handling paperwork in his office, but at the sound of shouting, he came running out. “Get them biobeds, let’s see what we can do.” He said, snatching a tricorder from a nearby table as he passed.

Checking the NE’s out she found the one on the left had temporal variations across his body. Some were simply sped up body processes like his blood flow/pressure putting him near to a heart attack at this rate. Another was slowed down like his bodily functions for digestion. Others were more dire like that his lungs were showing to have aged to nearly 90 years old. Though he was only on record as being 26. The NE on the right was in slightly less dire straights mainly showing minor signs of temporal bodily anomalies in that his hearing and other senses were that of an elderly man in his late 90s despite only being 22 years of age. His speech pattern and brain process for speech was also slowed temporally.

The obvious solution was to quickly rig up another pair of temporal isolation suits like the Captain was wearing currently built by the former CMO Grunch. Otherwise it was unlikely they would survive much longer.

Faith worked in Sickbay during Red Alerts and in times of need, as she was trained as an Auxiliary Nurse. “Sir?” Faith spoke up. “I’m also the Captain’s Yeoman, and the Captain was having these same kind of symptoms. The last CMO rigged up that thing the Captain is wearing to stabilise it. The CSO took away all his research and plans because he said that he wanted to ‘improve’ it. You should probably talk to Lt. Grey!”
