Well, crap, Ylana thought and snuck away from the plant slightly, though she didn’t leave yet. She wanted to see what this being would do. Instead, she communicated with her husband. Imzadi, Leamas is here but just left. But there’s another being, possibly more powerful than him here. I don’t know if anyone is in danger yet, but be prepared to get people out on a moment’s notice.

It was at that moment that Stephen entered the room, and with him, a sense of calm. As soon as he crossed the threshold of the room, the black figure dissipated into the air, leaving no trace it it’s existence, save for the troubled emotions of those there. Noticing his wife in distress, he quickly ran over and wrapped his arms around her, “Are you okay?”

Shari nodded stiffly, not completely sure what had happened. Still a little dazed by the presence of both figures, she was understabably shaken, “I-I think so.”

Meanwhile, Ylana’s arm was suddenly seized in a strong grip. Looking to the side, she would see Roze standing there, holding the woman with a strength one would not expect of her slim form. The girls eyes were hard, and her voice betrayed no emotion except for slight anger, “What are you doing here?”

Ylana’s dark eyes grew rather intense. “I suggest for your sake that you remove your hand immediately. I’m pretty sure assaulting the Governor’s wife at a party where she was an invited guest would look very, very bad for your employers,” she replied in a no-nonsense tone that showed she wasn’t at all intimidated. Then she informed her husband about the being. Michael, the being is gone. Stand down on the alert. At least on that front. She didn’t sound terribly impressed at all.

Bump

Roze tilted her head, “I fail to see how I am the one who is at fault here, especially with you seemingly spying from behind this plant.”

At this point, Stephen noticed the commotion and approached, “Now Roze, I am sure that Ylana has a very good reason for this, although I don’t blame you for your reaction.” He turned to Ylana, “You must forgive her, she takes our security very seriously.” As he spoke the next sentence, his voice hardened, “If you have been here for awhile, you must have some idea of what happened here correct?”
