OOC: I just why not and made this into a PRISM, since it’s already dragged on for a while. The outline is pretty much already clear and that is: stop the poachers.

IC: When the trio had finally decided on their next course of action, they silently waited for their opportunity. Dusk had already began to fall when the police did their shift rotation. As the authorities thinned out, the group crept outward and into a departing crowd. No one appeared to notice their presence. Valkris suspected they didn’t care in the end. The day had been pretty long already for both civilian and authorities. No matter the reason, this added to the trio’s good fortune in escaping.

Dim lights covered the wounding city streets while both individuals kept close together. Valkris’ eyes swept the shadows and remained alert. She partly expected someone to be tailing them since the Zoo. Dawson had taken the lead to guide them to their new destination, her peripheral vision eyeing him as they continued to walk.

“How much farther?” Valkris asked Dawson.

OOC: Is there anyone else interested in joining? Feel free to let Janice or I know!

IC: “Not long,” replied Dawson, scanning the streets for potential threats.

Secret Securities was a building that stuck out. It wasn’t typical Oedian build. Dawson had helped construct it, giving a rather El Aurian construction type. The tan front of it faced the setting sun. Dawson led them to the entrance, as he owned the place. He waved his palm in front of a camouflaged sensor and the doors opened.

The inside felt larger than what it looked like from the front. And it was clear that the building was built into the ground. There was much to see, but Dawson wasn’t here to give a tour. He moved to the stairs leading up to a series of offices. He opened one door, which was his and ushered them inside.

Inside there was a desk with a computer monitor neatly situated on it. The office was primarily bare from what anyone could tell. He turned to the two of them. “We’re safe for now. Nobody can hear or see. We need to figure this out.”

He pulled out a couple chairs from a closet. “Drinks? Food?” he inquired as he gave them each a chance to rest.

-Dawson, Owner of Secret Securities

Valkris simply followed without a word. Her feet managed to keep up as her eyes glimpsed the interior, the place well secure inside. It put her concern on ice for the moment. Upon entering the room with a single desk and computer, she was given a moment to catch her breath from the day’s excitement.

“Yes, please. I haven’t eaten since noon,” Valkris stated.

She reached out to help with the chairs and set them down one by one.

Tyra kept up with the others, while remaining on guard. She was still mulling over what she had found and what they were going to do about it. They couldn’t do this without getting others invovled. She took in the building that they were now in and simply nodded in answer to food and drink “Whatever you have.” She said quietly.

“So waht do we do now?” She asked.

Dawson gestured to the replicator as food materialized for him. “You’re free to order what you want. Not the best, but its something.” He brought his food and drink to his desk as he observed the others getting what they desired.

“Let’s go over what we know,” stated Dawson. “A group of individuals are taking zoo animals through tunnels underneath he zoo. Anything else?” They had spent so much time trying to get out, that Dawson hadn’t had a chance to pay too much attention to other things they may have encountered.

-Dawson, Owner of Secret Securities

Valkris nodded, then moved over the replicator to order for two. She ordered two identical sub sandwiches and tea, figuring it was the simplest selection. Most humans didn’t have a Klingon taste for harder foods. Bring the tray to the table, she passed over Tyra’s half before digging into her own.

After swallowing a bite or two, Valkris thought for a moment. She considered what the man said then added information in gradually.

“Yes, though the zoo records have it on file they have been ‘relocated’. I think they have someone in a higher position within the zoo and helping to organize this. We need to prove thee animals aren’t making to their new destination. I don’t think they will moving anything tonight with the number of authorities there. Too risky.”

–Ensign Valkris MacLaren, Sec

Tyra took a bite of the sandwich “I can get the destinations for each of the animals and we can contact the receiving facilities to see if they received the animals.”
