Dear all,

please let me apologize for my prolonged LOA that I had to hand in very last minute lately (and has already run out again so I showed up AWOL).

These past few weeks something wonderful happened in my life and it will change it in a huge way. I’m NOT pregnant, I’m too old for that. It has to do with my career and beyond that - my voluntary involvement in a great cause - where I can actually make a positive change on a rather large scale in the lives of others.
If you are interested to find out more, pls message me on Facebook or email me to mail (at) juliak.de - without the spaces and with an @.

It has reached a point where I became all too aware that I had to make a few hard decisions, because my voluntary involvment will for a long time be almost like a secondary job that I do additionally to the one I get paid for - until both of it merges. Because I love STF so much, I’ve already given up lots of other things over the years and narrowed it down to those who are essential. However now I have to step back from STF in favour of this secondary job - because of the good I can do with it.
I hope you are not upset with me about it.

I will miss OED V very much. Since I joined STF in 2004 I have almost always been on OED with a character in one or the other way, and then there was my time as Governor of OED and quite a few times when me and a few others worked hard to prevent OED from being decomissioned. It’s always been a special and more challenging RP environment in STF, but that’s what makes it so great and it is hugely important for STF’s diversity.

It is extremely hard for me to make this step, and I’m sitting here with watery eyes. The Zar symbiont has been part of OED inside various different hosts for over 10 years now, real life years.
There are so few special, out-of-the-normal places and OED is one of them, and all of you are making this happen. Thank you.
Especially you, Tony and Sid, thank you so much. I shall really miss writing with you.

I will never completely quit STF, it’s too much a part of my life, but I will narrow it down to a non-important character on Lind’s ship.

I know it’s a bit early for it, but I would still like to wish you a wonderful, blessed Christmas time with lots and lots of love.
And please, never give up on OED V.

Love
Julia

You’re going to be greatly missed, Julia. It was a lot of fun simming with you! Darius was definitely one of the odder characters I’ve met on this site, but he was a great one. Congratulations on whatever happened with your career, I’m sure you’re going to do great!

See you on the flip side and merry Christmas,
Trin

Your going to be missed but I completely understand. The joy has been mine and you have enriched my life from just knowing and writing with you. Always a home here for you as in a way it is your home.

Sidney
