Halai’s bedroom was serene and beautiful. Astrid felt immediately at peace in there. She smiled warmly and nodded taking in the decor and color palette. “You know I did the same thing. When sitting in my tub, I can almost submerge. It comes up to my neck. I chose this gigantic copper tub. In the candle light, it glistens!” One of the things she liked most about being a judge was the pay. OED V was paying her well enough to be the Head Judge. The work was hard but the pay was good. Her home had been redone to her specifications as a part of the moving budget given to her when she was hired. The tub was one of many indulgences and she was glad to know she wasn’t the only one who did it. “You know, there is a vendor of bath additives near my home. We should visit there when you come to my house.”

Halai’s gold ringed eyes lit up. “Oh! I love that idea. I haven’t been there, but then again, I’ve yet to visit every business here and they change so often sometimes.”
Moving back towards the bedroom door, she pointed to a space tucked behind a short wall. “That’s my work desk. As a friend pointed out when I was early in the decorating phase, it made sense that it be here so I can just flop into bed after most definitely working too late into the night,” Cosgrove said with a grin.

“I have been known to fall asleep either on one of my couches… indoor or outdoor, and in bed with books and PaDD’s everywhere. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night with notes on a case, like my mind works on it as I sleep. Maybe it does.” She shrugged. “You should come to this store. My understanding is that they have been in business since shortly after OED V was finished. Everything smells so great in there. Now my bathroom does too.”
She looked at Halai with fascination in her eyes. “You know, one ball of this bath stuff will have your entire house smelling wonderful and your skin… When you come out of the bath you will be soft and smooth and moisturized. I try to use them once a week if I can.”

Suddenly there was a sounding of a requested entry into Cosgrove Villa.

Halai frowned slightly but knew that her bodyguards would answer it. “Rob will tell me who it is in a minute,” she said, shifting her attention back to Astrid. Cosgrove allowed herself a moment to set the picture in her mind and smiled deeply. “I can imagine how wonderful it is. Small luxuries, right?” There was a complimentary energy between them that Halai enjoyed and her korisolo agreed. “Let me know when you’re going next and tag along.”
Meanwhile, Rob had gone to the comm/security panel at the door and eyed the video of the secured front gate. “Who is it?” he called into the comm.
