Ylana couldn’t help but smile from inside her suit. She could have made a comment about that being pointless, since Leamas’ ability to hurt her was beyond their ability to prevent.

Soon enough they were outside the dome. Ylana was on her own and moving to the place where the former mobile lab sat. There was subtle places where she could see the supports had been driven into the ground and they marked the perimeter of the double wide building site. She began to move about it. =/\=Eviros to Team Alpha. Surveying the site. So far I’ve found nothing, but it’s only been a minute and the take down was pretty hasty. I’m going to take some readings while I’m out here.=/\= Team Alpha was a fake set-up to make it seem like she was talking to the Science & Terraforming team, rather than Longstreet’s hidden security team.

Pulling her tricorder out carefully, she opened it and set it to active scan as she moved about the former building perimeter. It was all an act, since there was nothing out here to find, but it had been the truth that the take down had been hasty after the attack on the lab that killed one and left the team leader in a coma. Still, there was a part of her that genuinely was looking for anything small left behind and so her mind read as true to anyone who might want to verify her story.

Longstreet had access to the com but only one way. That way hopefully Leamas could not detect them. He had no idea just how much Leamas was capable of. If he had any corporal form, and it seemed he did if only temporary, then he could be taken down. Hopefully.

Longstreet

You are searching for something, echoed a familiar voice in her mind. Curiosity holds on to you like cat to a tree. As Ylana continued her search, the visage of Morin Tal once again appeared before her.

Meanwhile, in the cave, the familiar light of Archanon appeared inside with them. His shape shifted into the Governor once again with a duffel bag in tow. “Do not forget these commander,” he said as he laid the bag down at his feet. Inside were the same devices that created a forcefield that with held Archanon earlier. Dilithium crystals had been procured in time to power every device that had been brought by Conrad on the Black Sparrow. The devices when placed appropriately would create a forcefield in which the Kalidonians could not escape.

Ylana knew the voice, but also knew who it really was. “Nice of you to show up to the party,” she said aloud dryly before switching to telepathy. Just following up on things for my boss. As I’m sure you are aware, the attack on the mobile lab out here was a pretty big deal. We were running experiments out here and a couple small things are missing that aren’t accounted for by the explosion debris.

~Ylana Eviros, CSO

OOC: Linds, we will branch the thread off here for what happens between you and Leamas.

IC: Morin grinned. How boring. Finding small things in a debris field is no easy task. I am curious. What do you hope to find that would be so important?

-Leamas

Ylana didn’t look at the visage of Morin while she worked, but simply crouched down as she peered at her tricorder. Well, you might care little about such things, but this was the site of a terrible incident. One of my colleagues was killed and another seriously injured enough to be in a coma. We don’t take such things lightly. In our haste to vacate the site, we believe some items related to our experiments were left behind. I also wanted to see if the seeds are indeed dead. Of course they would be, but the small part of her that wanted Cosgrove’s project to succeed now rather than later was hopeful.

Why such interest in my boring search? I can’t believe for a second you care about what I’m doing out here, Ylana said with some amusement.

Leamas knew his prison was nearby. Had she been sent out to locate that, using the story as a ruse? Perhaps. But of all the people to send, she was probably the one they should not have sent to him.

I am not interested in your boring research. It is you that I take an interest in. he said leaving it at that, knowing the visage and sound of Morin inside her head would likely cause some reaction. Whether she chose to show it or not was up to her. But he knew.
